  1. plus What I've Done, it's boring af. It's boring live since they play it.

I have to disagree with you. What I've Done is one of my favorites songs, and I actually love it when they play it with the extended solo.

  2. Piece on the new album in the latest Kerrang! Issue. Nothing too interesting besides a few smaller things:

"We are in the mixing stage and want to get things right. It's not coming this month but we are getting close!"

I forgot the specific sentence but he also talked about how he wants people to relate to the lyrics more this time around. He said something like, "Fans used to tell us that they felt like our music spoke for them when they couldn't. We hope they have that same takeaway from the new album."

And on the album title: "We've been working on this thing for 12 months and still haven't decided on a damn title!"

He mentioned working with Andrew Dawson, Eg White, Justin Parker, RAC, Blackbear, and Corrin Roddick on the new album.

"The album is not at all political."

    Source?
  3. Then they can start expanding to other countries in South America. Imagine if they did 8-10 shows on the continent. I don't think they understand how well they can do there.

This! I hope that after this South American tour they will understand that they can do great here and that there are a LOT of fans. Peru sold out concert is a BIG evidence.

  4. I have a question. Tickets are going to be sold since December 19th. I have some personal issues and I can buy them after the 28th. Do you guys think that there are still going to be tickets available? Sorry for my ignorance.

Seriously, believe it or not I need a response right now.

  5.

Well, I hope it's true. It would be awesome for Linkin Park to do a proper South American Tour in every possible country. Also, I would love for them to announce more shows in Brazil and Argentina but I think it's not probable. :( :fingers crossed:

  6. I think it's possible in Geki's mind the same as it's possbile for parents to think that their child is the smartest, prettiest and successful kid in world - while he clearly isn't any of them. I do think Geki's relationship with the band's music is more deeper than most of us here and a bit complicated to understand from the outside. When it comes to his opinion Geki don't really care if he's right or wrong (most people don't but I'll need a separate topic just to explain it), he's writing what he feels at the very moment and this is why you can quote him today saying "Living Things is the most artistic album LP ever released" and a month later "Living Things is a pure garbage", just an example of course.

I can tell you that I find myself again and again reading some stuff that Geki said and my eyebrows almost reaching my hair, but then again this is Geki and you can try to understand it or ignore it and move on. You can't change his opinion and he might change it later anyway.

I get it. My intention was never to change his opinion, I just said that I totally disagree since I think there are plenty other music out there that is far better than LP music. Obviously this is my opinion, maybe it wasn't necessary to say what I've said but I was surprised to read that statement.

  7.

I think LP music is 100% better than anything created by any other musician in history.

I totally disagree with this statement, I don't even understand how is this possible.

  8. The album might also turn out to be long, since they said they have a ton of material for the new album

They had over 100 tracks on MTM and then finally it ended up being a 12-track-album, like always.

  9. So maybe single in January, nice.

And.. "...it's going to be a very special album" - this is promising

I don't want to let you down but when they say 'early 2017' they can also be referring to April or even May. So maybe the album will be out between May and June.

  10. I don't know why people want LP to drop Joe and Mike solos. I think that every member of the band has to have a proper solo so they can shine for a couple of minutes. So, Rob has a drum solo on Bleed It Out, Joe has a solo in the middle of the set and the same for Mike. I doubt that Brad could make a guitar solo since I don't think he likes that kind of stuff, and also I find his guitar solos very basic and boring.

  11. I honestly think that they should add some heavy stuff, this would make sense because they are going to play at heavy music festivals such as Maximus Festival and HellFest. I don't know you guys but I'm starting to think that maybe their new album will be a heavy one because it's illogical to be part of heavy music festivals when your new stuff is mellow and slow.

  12.

Well that's pretty stupid if they don't. Surely they have access to all that info and it might just require like 20 mins of time. It's kind of sad when the fan base can label the dates for demos correctly and the actual band can't.
