  1. People seem to underistimate how big linkin park is , i usually facepalm when I see comments like "how did linkin park headline over (insert band name that hasn't been relevant in decade ) " , I mean judging by the sales of lp ,lp has sold more copies than slipknot , avenged sevenfold and all other heavy metal / alt.metal acts of the century(sure someone will disagree) + linkin park is one of the most requested bands in download judging by comments on social media , lp doesn't need to sell more albums and the hunting party was proof that linkin park doesn't need album sales as they have headlined a lot of festivals in 2015, yes lp is falling in popularity but there's reason that lp still manages to sell gigs and sell nearly 1 mil copies without promotion and I disagree that lp strives out off singles and hits , lp is not that kind of band anymore (look at ATS era ) but to each their own I guess ..

  2. Ok maybe i came up as little uninformative douchey lol but i'm quite sure that biffy clyro is not that huge and again judging by people reaction i don't think they are that popular to headline huge festivals .

I mean it seems that they are trying to please alt.rock crowds but they couldn't book the bigger ones so they ended up with safe choice instead of going with linkin park for the 5th time .

Another thing,i clearly know what i'm talking about and i was unaware of the last black sabbath album because i don't follow/like them so thanks for correcting me.

Lastly,i'm quite sure that thp had sold 900k copies in 2014 so it's not that hard to exceed 1 million copies by 2016 and i've read that it has sold 1.2m copies somewhere while searching for album statistics so just pointing that out

  3. Wow that lineup is bad and if we gonna judge by sales and hype then how did black sabbath headline this year's download and they aren't even relevant or newsworthy anymore moreover they haven't released an album in 20 years and judging by the comments no one cares about the next year edition except SOAD because they are SOAD of course and call me crazy but if we took into consideration the poor marketing of thp and the overall sound it didn't sell that bad , i mean 1.2 million copies is still good for hard rock album nevertheless

  4. I feel that they will go full pop but thats just me , i kinda hope they move into even heavier territory than the hunting party while at the same time experimenting a little bit with punk rock like "war" or even progressive metal/rock with more complex guitar playing and non-conventional song structures ,that would be cool

  5. I've been following this site since ats era and I found it easily one of the best linkin park fansites around and I still remember that lpl is one of the few places among the fan base that stood by Lp during that era , actually this is the one of the few sites that gave the hunting party overwhelmingly positive reviews upon its release , you wanna experience some lp haters out there ? Go check out blabber mouth or metal injection or even official lp Facebook page ..lp is not universally loved band ,they have a ton of haters and that's natural because it's impossible for nu metal fans to accept heavy electronically influenced stuff and the other way around ..

  6. I dislike 30stm(they are not my cup of tea) but they are by no means a terrible band and it's obvious that so many lp fans like 30 stm so it's not a big surprise to talk about this specific band cause if you think about it, the band revolution is pretty similar to linkin park except THP which is something 30 stm wouldn't likely do in the future, also, i haven't found yet a 30stm fan (echelon) that legitimately hates LP , and that's considered a rare thing because pretty much most of the fans of other bands don't like LP in general, just saying ..

  7. Literally any show the band has played in Central or South America in their entire career, for starters.

Also, LMAO @ you including Live in Texas in that list. Yep, a half-empty stadium full of disinterested Metallica fans was a great Linkin Park crowd, alright...the crowd shots on the DVD don't lie. The crowd screaming "GO AWAY" so loud on APFMH was sarcasm that was apparently lost on nearly everyone in the Linkin Park camp, including the band - they were literally yelling at them to get off the stage.

seeing how huge was the moshpit in texas i doubt that they said that as plain sarcasm , the crowd was moshing and jumping during every song , linkin park really did great job , the crowd was singing crawling chorus at the top of their lungs , they only didn't react to the softer songs like numb or SIB , other than that the crowd was really good , being metallica fan doesn't necessarily mean linkin park hater ...

  8. some songs actually needed a guitar solo before hunting party but instead it's being replaced by electronics (eg.WFTE)

whenever I hear this song live I laugh my ass off , I mean the synth part after the second bridge is clearly obvious yet brad manages to play random notes as if he's doing a solo or something , samething with BTH i see brad's playing guitar but i could hear nothing

2007 was the only year probably that he's ever done a decent outro of faint instead of hitting randomly notes which sound like mess

iam eager to see brad playing rebellion , I mean it's not that hard , there are tons of covers for it from normal guitarists who played guitars for 2 years or so

brad is playing guitar for over 17 years , and i can't wait to see chester's scream at last bridge

    that would be epic ..
