LinkinPete
Take this with a grain of salt, but a commenter on OC Weekly's prediction of the Almost Acoustic Xmas shows said he/she was mailed a flyer that said the lineup was "December 8th with Linkin Park, Rise Against, Bush, Garbage, Slightly Stoopid, Awolnation, Walk The Moon, The Gaslight Anthem, Two Door Cinema Club, and Youngblood Hawke. Night 2 is on December 9th and the lineup is The Killers, Jack White, Fun, M83, Passion Pit, Of Monsters and Men, Grouplove, The lumineers, Alex Clare, and Imagine Dragons." Souls is right, please post news like this in relevant threads not just the current top newswire thread. you could post items lke this in a new thread in the "got news" subforum, but considering we already have a newswire thread about rumours for possible upcoming European Dates, this sort of news wouldn't seem out of place there. this is a nice little bit of info and it should be posted somewhere relevant so more people get to see it Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/9282-10112012-johannesburg-south-africa-fnb-stadium/page/2/#findComment-177732 Share on other sites
Kratos8051
I was at both the Cape Town and Johannesburg shows and they were both pretty epic! I hope video footage of either show will eventually become available. I would love to have footage from my first Linkin Park shows! lgr
"A heart felt thank you to Linkin Park from a South African fan, who was very moved by their performance in Johannesburg, at Soccer City, November 10, 2012." the girl in the video created this account yesterday. a friend of mine shared this from her facebook and it has made my day. If I don't get to see the band in 2012/13, I'll at least be happy knowing that some people who have never had that chance, are finally getting the opportunity to do so. Kratos8051
Which one was better? Even though both were pretty awesome, the Johannesburg one stood out. The crowd was more psyched for the show, the effects on stage was better and the performance more energetic. As LINKINMARK posted, that made the Johannesburg show stand out Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/9282-10112012-johannesburg-south-africa-fnb-stadium/page/2/#findComment-177795 Share on other sites
