emerson17
Hello all of you guys!! As first I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Pawel and my question is very simple. Do you know guys, what kind of device is using Shinoda for change him voice in Fallout prelude. For the first time I thought that this is a Voice Live 2 from TC helicon, but finally I cant agree with that because I did a screen shot ones of the concerts in Moscow in this case, and that's looks so different. Below, I would like to post the picture in which has been pointed the device. Thank you in advance. I would be grateful for any help guys!! Cheers Photo Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/9164-fallout-vocal-device-used-by-mike-shinoda-help-please/ Share on other sites
hahninator
I'm not familiar with that device. Isn't it just some kind of preset on his keyboard? He sings Fallout from the keyboard but sings Requiem from backstage....I think they just took the effect they used in the studio and make it a setting on his keyboard for him and he sings it. They do that for VICTIMIZED for him, The Catalyst, Fallout, I THINK Blackout, I would assume Requiem too. Pez
Last time I spoke with Pooch regarding the vocal effects. Blackout was done using a Lo-Fi plugin on Pooch's mixing console. Nothing 'controlled' by Mike for that song. For the Numb outro/Radiance thing, Pooch said it was done onstage by Mike using one of these bad boys. I assume its the same for Fallout (even though I though I thought it was Mike's voice just fading in over a backing vocal track) http://www.ehx.com/products/v256 Although this doesn't link with the picture I took of this very pedal back in 2010 Sydney Summit. Thats actually a Moog MP-201 (I think), which isnt what pooch told me he used. I thought this was for more of his keyboard setup. So its either its the V256 for vocals with the the Moog controlling keys only. Or the V256 doesnt exist and the Moog does all the work. Hope that kinda helps you out Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/9164-fallout-vocal-device-used-by-mike-shinoda-help-please/#findComment-175592 Share on other sites
