FearOfTheDuck Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 What is the significance of "Akira", referenced in High Voltage? Quote
Jen Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 The only thing I know of that is called that, and that Mike probably has seen is the Japanese anime film Akira. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094625/ Quote
GraDoN Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 apparently a very good animation movie, not my style though Quote
ShinigamiPWN Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 I always think of the manga/anime called Akira. >_> Quote
Astat Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 I think Akira was an alter-ego name of sorts that Mike went by in the Hybrid Theory days, but he probably ditched it years ago. Quote

And the film, Akira, is of course based on the manga of the same name. so everyone's right! hooray! Quote
LPPanther Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Just had to throw in that Akira is fucking sick and if you haven't seen it something is wrong with you haha. Quote
