Astat
Question 1. : The Song "Now I See" From "The Wicked World Of Warner Bros.Reprise Ozzfest Sampler 2000", is this song exactly same With You Version from Hybrid Theory Album? Question 2. : Mark Wakefield's song "Ground Zero", with whom did he recorded the song and when? many more to come... Question 1: No. One of the guitar harmonics at the end of each verse is different, and the whole song is mixed differently, most notably on the scratching effects during the intro. The synth-y parts during the verses are also louder, and some of the echoing effects on Mike's vocals are a little different. Question 2: Mike commented on this song on one of his LPMB posting sprees a couple months ago, and said it wasn't a real song. That could just mean he thought we were calling it a Xero song (which we already knew it wasn't) and it actually is Mark singing, but the authenticity of the song has never been confirmed. If it is authentic, it would've been recorded sometime in the late 90s after he left Xero, but the other musicians playing on it are anybody's guess. Ashwhisker
The first one is Mark. Second one is not. Mark is still a great friend of mine. He never worked for Zomba (and BTW, Jeff Blue was never our manager, he worked at Zomba and later Warner Bros.). Mark works for Velvet Hammer management. He manages System Of A Down, Deftones, Cypress Hill, Alice In Chains, and a few other bands. He's also got a wicked sense of humor. from the LP boards Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/3020-some-ques-about-old-songs/#findComment-46299 Share on other sites
