Geki Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 (edited) The only line I can't figure it out is the ? in the first verse...that's it. As for figuring out the 08 version, that's pretty much impossible without either a high quality audience recording or a SBD rip. Also, I'm pretty sure this is the song that Chester said is about how being an alcoholic/drug addict at the time helped him in a lot of ways. If you read the lyrics in keep that in mind, it all comes together. For example, the lines ''You kiss away all of my pain'' and ''I find salvation in a bottle'' are pretty much implying. Well...it would make sense lyrically, but I don't think it's correct. It's still better than my guess though...fuck it's bugging me! Lol. But the other line in the chorus is in fact ''You wash away these bitter stings''. Quote
