This merch drop includes a couple of new t-shirts, pullovers, and a hoodie featuring more "liquid" designs with the new logo and other visuals. A number of accessories are included, including socks, a beanie, coasters, a tote bag, a canvas flag, a sticker pack, and even a beer koozie!

Anyone planning on purchasing anything? I know I'm old now because I have my eyes on the socks and coasters 😅 Keep in mind Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales are coming up in two weeks (spoken like a true retail worker), so there may be some deals (likely on the older items, however) coming up later on.

I could be completely wrong, but this must be the most profitable period in the band’s history. The number of variations of the album, the commercial success of the new songs, and the amount of merch for each of the shows seem to reflect that.

Not to mention the store they opened in São Paulo on the day From Zero was released it had a line stretching three blocks full of people eager to spend money!

Hard to say and also hard to compare. Music bidnezz a lot harder than it used to be. They made so much money in early '00s, and don't forget that the only 21st century album that's sold a lot more copies than Hybrid Theory is Adele's most successful album! Anyway, everything's more expensive now, and anyone you interface with in the industry wants larger cuts now, including the venues wanting more of the band merch cut etc...

Yes, it's complicated to say. I think that in the early 2000s, much of the artists' income came from CD sales. With the decline in physical sales, live performances became the main source of revenue. This new way of earning through shows, along with the incredible amount of merchandise and brand licensing, indicates a cash flow they had never seen before.

Of course, all just speculation.
