So, i've been working on one the songs that i needed to remaster. heres some things that i've changed from the original one.

INTRO NOISE: i've removed because it bother, not sure if was intentional.
Removed the Crackle during Mike's line "Maybe someday I'll be just like you and"... (you need to listen to it a thousand of times to notice it)

Turning down the Guitar and giving space to Bass... Well, that's one of the things that everyone agrees with.

Turning up a little the drums.

And Removing a little of the noise from the end tail.

Let me know what y'all think, Peace!

All about iZotope RX7 and FL Studio, i used Music rebalancer to turn down the guitar. and FL Studio to EQ and some other stuff

The intro has a background noise, you can hear that when you listen to it on headfones, it's pretty loud imo

Mid/Side processing?

iZotope RX7  music rebalancer, this is the best tool, it also Remastered Xero's tape with this tool

EQ Works, but sometimes it can turn down more things than just the guitar

Oh, if you guys don't notice the difference, i recommend downloading both original and this version and compare on your PC/Cellphone, youtube made it with low volume

Correct me if I’m wrong (Astat will know) but LP used to mix most of their guitar tracks to be most prominent in their centre channel - so turning down the centre channel in general should bring down the guitar volume.

No. LP as many bands record 1 or 2 guitars for each side (1 L and 1 R or 2 L and 2 R) to make that heavy wall of sound especially on the old albums. you can easily hear this by extracting the centre channel, you get pretty much an isolated guitar track. this is like the standard for the production of a rock/metal album.

Of course they put guitars in the middle but not always.
