hahninator Posted September 14, 2013 Share Posted September 14, 2013 Today Stone Temple Pilots play their sixth show of their current USA Tour in Newkirk, Oklahoma at the Council Bluff Event Center. Filter will be joining them as usual. At the last show, the band took a break from their headlining tour to open for Mötley Crüe in Oklahoma City, OK on the 13th. There, they played an abbreviated 13 song setlist. Unfortunately, Chester did not join Mötley Crüe for 'Home Sweet Home' at the show! And Richard from Filter didn't join STP for 'Piece Of Pie' as far as we know. We're still waiting to see if STP will debut a new song from their forthcoming EP or if they'll change the set at all this tour. After this show, the band technically has 5 legit headlining STP shows remaining for this tour, but they are playing two festivals and a Florida Panthers Event later in the tour. At their next show, they will be in Sunrise, Florida on the 17th at the BB&T Center, the same venue that kicked off the Linkin Park A Thousand Suns North American Tour in 2011.
