    - Linkin Park received a request to record a song for a KROQ charity album on October 4. The day before this show, the band spent a day at The Loft in Nashville to record 'My December'. The song was sent over on October 10 and KROQ debuted it the next day. This is the only time that a Linkin Park song has been completely recorded outside of Los Angeles. Mike mentioned that Elvis had also recorded at the studio.

This is the first confirmed show where it was played, but it is likely that the band played it earlier in 2000 at some point or even 1999 when the song was called 'Super Xero'. The band changed the setlist too, dropping 'Cure For The Itch' and 'And One', changing the order up, and putting 'A Place For My Head' as the set opener.

    - The Snax ended their tour on October 21st, so Phoenix was with the band on the night of Hybrid Theory's release, as they've told the story about driving to a music store in Seattle when they got into town the night before their show there and seeing if they'd let them in to be the first ones to buy the album.

    - From the Kerrang interview in 2008, "FOUR MONTHS later, on 23 October 2000, the band found themselves in Washington State just outside Seattle. Their debut album would be released the next day and, thanks to the support of the Warner Bros radio pluggers, its songs had been riding high on the airwaves. Bassist Phoenix Farrell, who had missed the recording process after temporarily leaving the band to fulfil a commitment to his old band Tasty Snax, had rejoined.

    Parked outside a 24hr record store, waiting to go in on the stroke of midnight to buy the first copy of their new album, they started dreaming about what Hybrid Theory might sell in its first week of release.

    “I thought it would be awesome if it sold 3,000 copies,” says Farrell. “I thought that was something to build on. But Chester said he thought it would sell 8,000 copies. My gut reaction to that was panic. You’ve got to set your expectations high but you don’t want to be stupid.”"

    - This was Scott Koziol's last show with Linkin Park. According to Jeff Blue's "One Step Closer: From Xero to #1: Becoming Linkin Park" book, a couple of days after Halloween he had lunch with Brad and Phoenix who announced Phoenix was returning to the band.

    - In late 2000, fansites posted that Linkin Park would be performing on an upcoming episode of "Farmclub." LPLive found this while researching the band's past history and in 2017 finally figured out what it was. On July 21st, the day after Chester passed, Jonathan Solin posted on Facebook, "Years ago, when I worked for the great Farmclub, I was sent to interview an unknown band at the old Palace in Hollywood. We interviewed Linkin Park in a ratty dressing room at the venue and they came off as young, likeable, funny, goofy guys. When interview over, Chester ran down street to give us free tix to the show that night. It was a great show. We never aired that segment cuz they weren't known yet. A month later, the album came out and exploded. They had a ton of hits and I liked them very much. This was the song they played for us that day." This confirms the date and performance. The video is unreleased.
