So I realised that U2 and Jay Z are touring Australia at the same time as Linkin Park...

U2 have a show in Melbourne on December 1st and then they have NO SHOWS until December 8th...

Could there be an LP/Jay Z Reunion in Australia? There are unannounced "special guests"...

What's the rule regarding download links on this?

I agree that the Australian tour we may have rotating setlists. It may be added "My December" in place of "The Messenger".

 

It would be interesting to open the setlist with "WTCFM" with the participation of Street Drum Corps (who knows, maybe someday in the future...)

It would be really cheesey for them to play My December lol... I'd LOVE it if they do, but yeah... Cheesey lol

I'm predicting new or rotating setlists in Australia.

It's well into the tour and they LOVE to play here.

It may be as little as 2 sets that change. But it's better than nothing...

They should really include APFMH in one of them though... "Wretches" and WTCFM remind me of it so much...

For me, the song "Too Late" has a special connection.

When my ex girlfriend and I broke up she tried to fix it. This song obviously left a mark.

She and I are no longer together, but I always think of her when I play "Too Late"

But what if Trey Songz debuted at number one and one of his fans decided to bash you for liking Linkiin Park? Would you be unable to defend yourself because LP took the number 2 spot? And at the same time: would you feel like Trey Songz is better if one of his fans pulled out the fact that his album went #1?

 

It seems like a pretty weak stance to say that an album is better based on sales.

Popularity is a bitch

Certainly not all albums can be deemed good based on sales. But a band that can make an album that sells millions of copies must be doing something right.

Though I've never seen the big deal about chart positions.

It's so that we can shove it up the haters

Hmm... I've figured it out!

If they release an album once every 3 years, the build up and excitement gets the fans pumped, we rush out to buy the new music, request multiple radio and Music TV shows to play it and LP get a number 1 debut.

THAT'S WHY THEY TAKE SO LONG! THEY DO IT ON PURPOSE!

But seriously, congrats LP. Well deserved.
