Hey guys, need tips and some suggestion on the following points:

    a. I have tickets for the area right behind the LPU Pit. I want to stand right at the front (really want to get a full first LP live experience) - any tips on how to be there? (e.g., how many hours early on should I stand in the queue, what to expect, any other tips);
    b. How do you get a set list? From FOH or someone from the stage can hand it over?
    c. While I live in the Netherlands, what time do you expect the show to get over (in general what time has the show been closing so far)- would you suggest getting a hotel for the night?
    d. Open to any general and other tips.

P.S. Open to tag along with LP fans here going for the Arnhem show. Let's gather? Tot ziens!

    a) LPU has early entry check the time when you are allowed to get in and the rest depends on you

    b) those two are correct.. my technique is to talk to the FOH people before the show starts let them know that you want the setlist, it depends on the mood of the guys who work there, last time the crew was rude to me but a security guard gave it to me.

3)defintely get an hotel.. thats a no brainer

I have some pictures and a clip from the stage build, if you are interested. And a full phone recording from one of the wheelchair areas. (We stood behind that and someone offered to take my friend’s phone to film)

    Uploaded the files here: https://filebin.net/2753i2il95oq3tbk

    Video of the full performance:

What the hell with the choreography? lol

    they look like PS1 NPCs

    fucking awful lol

I guess the backstage was a bit too serious, not having enough funny moments. Looking back to those concerts you kinda feel the band taking it all too professionally, focused "on the job" itself.

Maybe it was the overall reception of the album, the intense criticism, Chester answering back and switching between "fuck you come fight me" and  "we have to love each other" moments.

The band was burned out during the OML era, they needed a long hiatus after THP touring cycle.

  4. it was a solid perfomance the audio was great.

not sure what's the deal w pepsi and uefa in bringing high profile artists to do whatever they can in a very rushed time slot.

the band did what they could, they were great some transitions were rough they and i dont understand why they playef the numb fifa remix after the actual song ended? kinda kills the flow.

uefa should improve the timeslot atleast 10 minutes would be better.

whoever did the choreography it looked very awkward, it was bad.

I'm making the payment at LPU, but they're denying my card. I don't know why. I want to buy the ticket on Tuesday at 11 a.m., two hours after the LPU Legacy. Tickets are on sale to the general public on Friday. I don't think they'll sell out, but just to be sure. I want to become a LPU member, but I can't.

By the way, the venue in Madrid is outdoors. It looks like a Linkin Park-only concert, not a festival.

Does anyone know if VIP tickets with a meet-and-greet like those used to still exist? Or do VIP tickets no longer include that?

    1) Try again with another card

    2) LPU M&G do not exist right now, that sucks so bad, when i met the band back in 2015 i probably was more excited aobut the m&g vs the show.

All great points - the crowds at the shows have been a ton of younger fans. They are very excited to see LP. The band going viral on TikTok so many times since 2017 definitely helped contribute to that. Random songs, too.

And it's extra good to be an LP fan right now if you're you because Joe just said they want to return to Mexico very soon. lol

Where did he say that? share it please haha

I want to go to a USA date in the summer, would love to meet the LPL guys.

  7. 1) The hiatus: during this 7 year gap the world needed Linkin Park, many fans left and many of u were waiting. Linkin Park needed a hiatus after THP needed a long break they look burned out.

    2) the new wave of fans: if you actually pay attention the young fans are the ones that are packing the crowds, these guys fell in love w the band during the hiatus

    3) the market has changed: too many bands are trying to do stadium shows thats how the market now works

Its so good to be an LP fan right now.

Shinoda: "fans snowball things and things blown out of proportion" Hey, he's talking about the lurkers of this forum!!

Jokes aside (well, not really), It caught my attention that they said that the OG band always went to the safest route. I mean, now they've took the risks of playing mainly in stadium makes me think that many of the tours we had in arenas were in this kind of venues because the band were unsure if they could sell out bigger places. In other words, if they would have taken risks sooner we could had an stadium tour before in another album cycle

the old lineup could fill the same stadiums as this one or probably even more. the only problem that LP has is the USA.. they cant fill a stadium without another heavyweight thats why they asked Blink to be their support for the stadium shows.

Great footage as always. I don't know if it's just me, but everyone looks much more relaxed now.

    Very simple, they made it!

when they came back we didnt really know what was going to happen, being totally honest i thought that they were going to do just fine, play some medium shows, probably losing their headliner status but they cameback really strong.

they are so big right now because the fan base who goes to their conccerts or buy stuff its mostly YOUNG FANS , just look at that video, the guys who experiencied their first LP concert was massive like 90 to 10.

  10. Ive been listening a lot to this mix again obviously its not the best option but it so cool to listen to stuff that you cant hear in the og mix.

what happened to this? is this still available for streaming? what about other albums? are they available in dolby too?

Nothing newsworthy really, but this was such a fun interview to watch.

There's some bits of uknown info for sure

Linkin Park were the ones who got the idea to do the grammy performance they asked Paul and Jay.

Not sure why i always thought that it was Jay's idea.

Mike is recognized because he carried the Hip-Hop aspect with the utmost respect since day 1. I think people with a strong Hip-Hop background can acknowledge him because he always showed that he knows what Hip-Hop is about. Unlike many other "rappers" in rock bands back then, he "lived" and respected the culture (plus, you know, wrote some killer rap parts and produced a LOT of amazing beats).

I doubt many people from the genre would call him one of the best to ever do it, but they most certainly respect him for being "real" in a way. At least that's my feeling.

Because of Mike many rock fans became interested in hip hop music.

hes a freaking legend on his own.
