You don't need to register an account for this livestream. Watch it by just tuning in!
If you can't watch it, try to download an extension called "Unblock Youku" and refresh the browser again (that's what I usually do when I watch videos on Chinese media websites)
Hope this helps!

Guys, the stream is only open to certain countries. All of Asia, the US, the UK, Germany, France and Russia and Australia (I hope I didn't forget any). In order to watch the livestream you need to sign up with weibo or wechat. During sign up it will ask you for your mobile number and only those from the countries I mentioned above will be able to proceed.
No account registration is needed for this livestream

so... maybe again no Given Up like 2009?^^
Definitely they will have some songs dropped or censored because of the restrictions

The closest stop from Hong Kong is Shenzhen, have to take 1-2 hours to get there, I'm trying to make a short trip hope it will happen at some point. Still figuring out how to buy the tickets from the ticket website though...

Taobao wasn't fully trustful to be honest, although that website is one of the biggest websites in mainland China. I prefer paying more attentions to those local concert promoters in China, like AEG Live (who booked Avenged Sevenfold for 2 shows in Beijing and Shanghai in Jan few months ago).
However, I saw some posts w/ some legal documents about the bookings of the shows, it seems quite reliable and things got confirmed or settled, I'd keep an eye on it. If you guys need translations for Chinese I can help a bit
P.S: Hope the band will schedule a proper Asia tour and also come back to Hong Kong!

Wow, nice find. It's worth a discussion, anyway. Which venues? I can update the main post with this "rumor". Chonqqin has been rumored for a while.
I did hear that Phoenix allegedly said at the Amsterdam Summit that LP would not be playing in Asia for THP (my guess is that it is likely due to ticket sales). Perhaps that changed, but we will see.
The venues mentioned in that capture are:
- Beijing Workers Stadium (Sep 29)
- Shenzhen Sports Center Stadium (Oct 5)
- Wuhan Sports Center Stadium (Oct 7)
- Chongqing Olympic Sports Center (Oct 3)
- Shanghai Stadium (Oct 1 - National Day in China)
The venues are in stadium size basically, and that capture only mentioned "L" band but if it's really LP those shows will be HUGE and probably the biggest Chinese tour done by an American rock band
-
still very surprised they tour in Chongqing,
that's another city LP haven't been toured there before in Chinese region
Maybe they'll do a China tour again in 2015?
Hopefully they'll visit Hong Kong again since the show last year was a great one

What A7X did was they put out just one song, then 2 weeks later they put out an album on both digital and physical platforms, without any album promotion done beforehand. Despite a lower album sales, A7X actually did a quite successful release and their fans (include myself) can enjoy the album in its entirety rather than getting a few songs before the album dropped
