Indeed, but (and I'm gonna make from now on a LOT of Beatles comparisons because is another band I know EVERYTHING about) is like pretending to make an album with every song identical to A day in the life, on and on and on. Does not make much sense. Artists create lots and lost of different things. Some will stick more with you, some others not.

I don't see the fuss here. Linkin Park is a band capable of writing By Myself and then My December or Given Up and then Blackbirds. They do what they like (and like what they do), and they do it wisely. (And, as all of us are already aware (alas, I hope so), they don't owe us anything. They create what they need to create, and in the way they need it.)

Yeeeeeaaahhh from that to here it has been a rollercoaster of emotions. And I'm enjoy every bit of it. OEO is resonating more and more with me, and now I have on LOATR or WID level.

I agree. But remember all the backlash that LOATR got in the beginning: too pop, too soft, etc. I’m dying to see OEO live and see how it matures. All this fuss, in the end, it doesn’t even matter.

It has been growing on me these past two days, and I find it a very beautiful melody. If I had to add something (as if ), I'll explain it here: The first two notes (and the afterward synth between verses) sounded a lot like Mike's remix of 'Enjoy the Silence' (which btw is a goooorgeous version), so, I feel that the guitars and drums in OEO could be a bit higher, like in that remix. Maybe the levels of the song I/we have heard are not the final ones. Let's wait for today's premiere, I'm so hyped.
