There's a couple more things you forgot for 'The Hunting Party'. You forgot "Final Masquarade (Acoustic)". You also forgot about there being an early version of "War". Here's the information about it on Linkinpedia: "Very little changed between the demo version of the song, and the track found on The Hunting Party, though an early version of the track did have Chester yelling "1-2-1-2-FUCK-YOU" instead of the "1-2-1-2-THANK-YOU" that made the album."

i'll do it on my ms document. but not now on topic.

Late March? Or maybe you meant the other track, the TV one (MTV) :) If  yes... you might be right then :)

    Here's what I found about:

    March 3: Still Alive

March 10: Scream VI (we might listen Shinoda's solo track somewhere in the scene and see the credits)

that is Mike's Sidequest, which would explain why the meteroa warehouse update is on hold.... but we'll keep an eye out on meteroa warehouse website

    ---------------------

So, the possible LP's second single might be premiered on either one of those dates:

    -March 17, March 24, or March 31

P.S. Get ready for Feb 24th as it is the 20th anniverssary of Somewhere I Belong, the first meteora track that was released/premiered on February 24th, 2003.

Note: I am not sure if the second single is from Lost Demos Section (as i see Apple Music doesnt have the lengths (except Lost) for the rest of Lost Demos section), or could be one of the track from LPU Rarities 2.0. Let's just wait and see

    SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

Lost [Alternate Reality Version] debuts exclusively on Meta tomorrow, February 22nd at 7am PST at www.facebook.com/linkinpark

Oh, ok, so that's the same link I have there which is for US edition, the song on the international edition had the name: Blackbirds (From The 8-Bit Rebellion! App)

I think that the way how the song was called in the US edition was a mistake on the tracklist in the iTunes store, because I have it and the even the file name is 18 Blackbirds (From the 8-Bit Rebellion! App).m4a, also the song has the same name in the iTunes LP menu.

I think the demos of all above will end up on LT20.

Also, since there's only one demo called The Glistening for THP. are there any more demo titles for THP? please let me know.

Sure. That would be interesting. They could include demos of The Last Line and Not Alone on Minutes To Midnight too. I would be interested in hearing what they sounded like in 2007.

On A Thousand Suns they could release the original long demo of Powerless and a demo of Castle Of Glass.

    http://web.archive.org/web/20110320013455/http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/a-thousand-suns-deluxe-version/id389739922

A-Side and B-Side originated when singles were released in vinyl format. The A-Side (Side 1) of a single had the title song which was meant for radio airplay and the B-Side (Side 2) of the disc would have an extra song not deemed as important as the A-Side and not intended for airplay. There were also cases of double singles on which both sides were considered A-Sides, meaning both songs were intended for airplay. The only Linkin Park example I can think of is Pts.Of.Athrty / H! Vltg3.

After the creation of CDs, the term B-Side started being used for any track in a single that's not the title track. In the One Step Closer single for instance, we have One Step Closer as the A-Side and My December and High Voltage as B-Sides. The "B-Side Rarities" disc on the 20th anniversary edition of Hybrid Theory consists of B-Sides from the singles of One Step Closer, Crawling, In The End, Papercut and Pts.Of.Athrty.

In the current digital era, a B-Side is basically any song that wasn't released in the standard edition of an album (songs a band didn't consider important enough to be in the main album). Very often, B-Sides from the singles were also used as bonus tracks for studio albums (not as common now that singles became mainly 1-song digital releases). Back in the day it was common practice for labels to release albums at different dates in different countries with different tracklists (nowadays this still happens in Japan). Sometimes there were editions exclusive to certain stores as well (still happens in the US). The bonus tracks from all those different editions were usually the B-Sides from the singles, but they could also be tracks from compilations, soundtracks, songs previously released somewhere else or sometimes previously unreleased tracks (more common now with the deluxe editions of albums being released a full year after the standard edition). They might be cover songs, live songs, remixes or a song that didn't make any album. Since there were so many different editions of albums being released in different places, sometimes bands reused those B-Sides for multiple albums because a certain track hadn't been released in a certain place before. Linkin Park did this with the live version of One Step Closer (B-Side from the Faint single), releasing it as a bonus track for both Reanimation and Meteora.

On A Thousand Suns we had the B-Side of The Catalyst single as a bonus track for Japan, the NoBraiN remix of The Catalyst (winner of the remix contest) as a bonus track for HMV and Blackbirds (from the 8-bit Rebellion! soundtrack) as a bonus track for iTunes. Because they're bonus tracks for A Thousand Suns and never officially associated with any other album, they're technically A Thousand Suns b-sides.

i see. but i take it that there's no b-side later on in a near future like mid-2020s right?

but also, there are some finalized songs that didn't make it on time. i mean if you watch ATS documentary, there's like alot of deadline date (months) in each section and damn, that waass kinda like scary to rush and releasse the album before the deadline. thats just my theory.

  5. 5 hours ago, lpliveusername said:

The reason it was released on A Thousand Suns is irrelevant. The fact remains that it was a bonus track for A Thousand Suns.

"Use of this language has largely declined in the 21st century as the music industry has transitioned away from analog recordings towards digital formats without physical sides, such as CDs, downloads and streaming. Nevertheless, some artists and labels continue to employ the terms A-side and B-side metaphorically to describe the type of content a particular release features, with B-side sometimes representing a 'bonus' track or other material."

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-side_and_B-side

This MTV article used to have a video of Mike Shinoda talking about Blackbirds. Sadly it's not available anymore, but we have a transcription on Linkinpedia:

"When you finish the game, you get access to 'Blackbirds' which is a brand new Linkin Park song that we basically finished specifically to this game. So it's exclusive to the game. It's not gonna be on an album, it's not gonna be on anything else."

It was even listed as "Blackbirds (Non-Album Track From The 8-Bit Rebellion! App)" on the initial iTunes version of A Thousand Suns. Not "Minutes To Midnight B-Side" or "Minutes To Midnight Demo".

On the upcoming Meteora 20th anniversary release we have two live tracks recorded in 2002 which is technically the Hybrid Theory era, but they are being released with Meteora because they were b-sides to the Somewhere I Belong single, a Meteora song, from 2003.

So, what do they call if they don't use A-Side and B-Side?

Also, i found an interesting track, but i need an Xero expert:

Is Blooming and Clean an official Xero tracks or is it a fan-made? Also, was there an Xero track called "Faith" ?

Maybe this will be finally added to MTM video section.

this will be part of the "Possible HD/4K via Youtube", but i'll label the episodes as LPTV MTM Episodes under that section. and yes, i forgot to add that as i was editing the list on my ms word document. But I wish we can ask that back in Discord Q&A (if there was no technical difficulties).

Blackbirds was released in 2010 and was a bonus track for A Thousand Suns.

On the 20th anniversary of Minutes To Midnight, I would like to see them finally fix Shadow Of The Day with the version originally released in 2007. I don't understand why they felt the need to re-record the guitar (playing the wrong notes!) for the 15th anniversary edition when they have the Minutes To Midnight DVD with the entire album in Hi-Res 48kHz/24-bit quality.

Would be cool if they could include the other versions we have of Shadow Of The Day, No Roads Left and Across The Line in the b-sides disc though. Particularly the version of Across The Line with the extended intro from the LPU 9 European promo CD. The track is very low on the CD, so having an upgrade of that would be really good (just like we got an upgrade of She Couldn't on HT20).

Yeah, i notice the sound or instrument Shadow Of The Day from (MTM15th Anniversary Digital edition) changed. and don't worry. they'll fix the Across The Line version (but it depends on the Band).

As someone already said Blackbirds should be on MTM not ATS and also it says „across the road“ pretty sure you mean „across the line“

let's wait and see the announcement of MTM20, so we'll see the last. but blackbirds was part of the mtm, but didint make it to album on time, but released it as 8 bit.

I'm hoping that 8-Bit Rebellion might be revived as a website game or mobile app (for ATS20)

What? it's a song that its available for a release, any song available has a possibilty for a future release.

I know What Are You Worth will not be part of OML20, because if you remember that "incident". the collaborator leaked the track, and Mike was kinda angry.

But I do know that Friendly Fire will be a lead single for OML20.

Funny enough, you're right with one of those days. Per the chat box a couple days ago, Martinez said the next song "Fighting Myself" would become available everywhere March 3rd, 2023.

    thank you :)

lets say you (as a musician doing 20th anniversary), you can't release Lost on February 24th (the day SIB was released), so you need to release Lost before you pass the feb 24th. you need to beat that SIB release date.

March 3rd would make sense because no Meteora singles was released on March (well, Lying From You was released as promotional single on March 16, 2004).

We at least know all of the songs now. Titles of songs are a whole different thing. Nocturnal, Serpent, and Resolution are the ones we still don’t know which song they belong to yet, and any of which could belong to NL, Numb, Lost, or FM.

Seems like Resolution is gonna be a demo for “Lost”, and they probably didn’t name it “Resolution (Lost Demo)” as to not spoil the mystery of what it is yet.

I think either Serpent or Nocturnal is definitely Nobody’s Listening

God knows what Numb is could also be Serpent or Nocturnal.

Fighting Myself I have no clue it’s the 4th one, maybe it was in the blank space we saw.

    Nocturnal could be Numb.

    Serpent could be Nobody's Listening.

"I can't take this" lyric belongs to Figure.09 (Meteora|20 Demo)

After some teases and hints that we talked you about on this previous thread, Mike Shinoda officially confirmed he has 2 songs in the movie Scream VI, set to be released in the United States on March 10, 2023.

One song is called "In My Head" and features singer Kailee Morgue.
The second one is rumored to be a song by Demi Lovato, called "Still Alive", with Mike credited as writer and producer.

Here's what he said about it, in a KROQ interview with Nicole Alvarez:
"Up until this year, I've been doing a lot of writing and producing for other people. And I recently kind of got the bug to do it for myself again. I do have a new song that's gonna be in the movie Scream. So, what happened is they had reached out about like, 'Will you help us with the music for the movie?' And in the conversation it was like, 'Oh yeah', and I played them something and they were like, 'Oh my God, can we use that? Can it go in the movie?' I didn’t plan it. I would never have been like, 'Oh, we're gonna put out this big Linkin Park thing and then I wanna put my song out right on top of it!' That’s not a good planning for me, it's great planning for Linkin Park fans, because there's just more music. So, I've got stuff I've produced that are other people's songs, got my own song, and we got the Linkin Park stuff. And that's not even everything that we're gonna be doing around this for Linkin Park fans. So, this is a great time to be a Linkin Park fan."

He also mentioned working with PVRIS and gave more details about "In My Head" on ALT 98.7 Afternoons With Booker & Stryker:
"The thing that I have been the most involved in, I've been producing stuff for other people, writing, producing for other people. And so, I have some songs coming out, we just put out a song by Justus Bennets, which I love, I have something in the way with PVRIS... P-V-R Paris, yeah, not the blonde one, but the brunette one. Her name is Lynn, she's awesome. And then, most importantly, I think this is a world premiere, I think I haven't really talked about this, so this is cool, this is kind of cool. I have two songs in the new Scream movie. Truth be told, if you would have asked me when I wanted to put them out it wouldn't have been right next to Meteora, but that's when the movie comes out. So, that's gonna be a huge month for Linkin Park fans, like that's a brand new song, yeah, it's my track. Kailee Morgue is singing on the track, she's incredible. The reason I chose her is because she's like a massive Scream fan and she's got a good voice too, so I was like, 'She's a perfect fit for this thing.' So yeah, I feel like that's the start of our year, we'll see what happens after that, but there's a lot in store for Linkin Park fans."

Still Alive will premier on 3.3.23

    there's a phone number, so I recorded the voicemail . Here's the link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/7t3027u7736x9e8/Still_Alive_%28Scream_VI%29_Voicemail_Promo.mp3/file

Who's that person on the wall next to the "CUI"? Could this be small memorial/tribute to Jam Master Jay (of RUN DMC), Boogie Down Productions, Public Enemy, NWA, Juice Crew, or the hip hop film Wild Style? I wonder how's this connected to Cuidado (Lying From You Demo)

My potentially good suggestion was wasted here and totally has no sense of how it was added lol

I added the list of MTM 15 lptv episodes and that list was a suggestion to be copy and paste to the main list, it wasn't a suggestion to add all lptv episodes from meteora, mtm, ats, lt, thp, oml. There's no sense to add all of them simply because they probably will not be included in any of 20th editions, there might be a quality upgrade of some of them on youtube only but they will not be available on dvds or in any other form and I wasn't suggesting to add all of those.

In 2007 along with MTM album all of mentioned by me 15 full-length episodes were released on iTunes for fans for purchase. That was the first time the band did something like that and never done the similar thing again. Those full length episodes was not uploaded on youtube by the band.

nah your suggestion is not wasted.

I actually added your suggestion about possible HD/4K resolution to all the albums music videos and LPTV via YouTube. and yeah, i was taking a break from the listing and bored from re-editing.

but i re-edit and make sense about your suggestion.

I think we only have 14 at the moment. We don't have 15 quite yet. Here's the list:

    1. Don't Stay (Sick)

    2. Somewhere I Belong (Pretty Birdie/Pretty Birdy)

    3. Lying From You (Cuidado)

    4. Hit The Floor (Husky)

    5. Easier To Run (Interrogation)

    6. Faint (Faint)

    7. Figure.09 (Plaster II/Plaster 2/Figure.09)

    8. Breaking The Habit (Drawing)

    9. From The Inside (Shifter)

    10. Nobody's Listening (Working title unknown)

    11. Numb (Working title unknown)

    12. Lost (Possibly Resolution)

    13. Fighting Myself (Shortcut)

    14. More The Victim (Cumulus)

Number 15 is either A6 (A-Six/A.06), Wesside, or Resolution, though, I'm pretty sure the 15th one is probably A6. Who knows.

Also, for Resolution, there have been many theories that Resolution is a demo of Lost. That hasn't been confirmed yet, but, if that's the case, then we'll have three different versions of Lost.

    https://www.thefader.com/2023/02/14/mike-shinoda-tells-the-story-of-finding-lost-a-forgotten-linkin-park-track-on-the-fader-interview

you'll find the podcast and no, its without the preview of FM and MTV. but an interesting story.

also, can you analyze on if Fighting Myself is a sequel to By Myself (regardless or sound/instrument and lyrics?

Lol. I use a website called TimeStretch (https://29a.ch/timestretch/) to slow down songs so I can figure out the lyrics to songs.

Also, the lyrics "Somebody angry broken" belong to "More The Victim".

alrightk i'll save that link. thanks.

damn, looks like we need to stop theorize every lyrics like which belongs to which. let's just wait and see. also, i think i know who's that graffiti guy on the wall (but im not sure). could be an inspiration or a small tribute.

Edit: its Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC, who died on October 30, 2002. that would explain the tribute on the graffiti wall.
