I know that and I also read the transcript of the podcast. But it is not mentioned explicitly that he recorded Pictureboard with them. I mean it is definitely not farfetched that he recorded Pictureboard but we don't have anyone involved clearly saying that he recorded the song with them. So I just don't think it should be worded as a definite fact.

I think it’s fair to assume since he uploaded the song to his soundcloud

As a musician I find it quite troublesome that someone can get a copyright takedown for uploading a song that they performed on.

How was the guy related to it? I couldn’t really find any info. I assume he had something to do with it since he had the file and no one else did.

But also just because you perform on it doesn’t mean you can release it, sadly.

  3. Lmao there is zero vocoder on this song that I can tell but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ people who don't know vocal production gonna try to talk shit about vocal production.

Really condescending response, nice. There are definitely effects on his voice, that could easily be called "vocoder" by people who don't know the right term.

Whether or not people don't know about vocal production doesn't mean they can't have an opinion, or dislike the production.

  4. I understand what you're trying to say, Geki. As well as the points you're making. When they said they were focusing on lyrics specifically on OML, I was very disappointed on what they came out with.

Maybe it's not that OML wasn't as mature, but it was waaaaay more corny.

  5. I think the best option for them to continue as Linkin Park would be to get a new singer. I understand the sentiment of wanting a hologram, but that's completely ridiculous, and the sentiment of wanting his voice on a backing track, which is less ridiculous, and would be really nice for a while, but would eventually wear down the live performance. I know a new singer would be a very difficult transition, but it really would make the most sense.

  6. Meteora and Minutes to Midnight have always been my favorite LP albums. Meteora is better than Hybrid Theory to me because of how much more melodic it seems to be. Seems to have a lot more emotion in it, too.

  7. This has been brought up before, I think the LPLive staff think it's too much money. Although I'm sure we could raise it, I believe I remember seeing that they're not sure if he'd give us usage rights to be able to share it, upload it, etc.
