They should play Crawling as it is on the record so they have at least one more heavy track....Otherwise...they get ripped at Hellfest for sure with this setlist.

Sorry For Now

They should have kept Final Masquerade...

Hopefully a special setlist...

I haven't listened to it and I don't plan on doing so until Friday.
My friend told me almost every song has that annoying sampled 'clap' sound like it's some kid playing around with FL Studio or something, which is hilarious but hopefully not true. Linkin Park's potential is so high and I feel like this is a bad way to show it
Unfortunately, he is right. A lot of 'clapping' in the background.

Not the biggest fan but still better than Heavy and BS. Talking To Myself is still my favourite, because it is by far the most rock-sounding song we heard of OML

$151 for pit. Fuck.
Including the Ticketmaster fee, I guess?

Yeah I didn't want to get in to how bad I think the encore is (starting with Numb and Heavy lmao) but maybe that will change. I saw Mansfield 2012 with Numb in the encore (lol) and they promptly moved it out the very next day in Wantagh. I really don't think Numb is an encore song. They need the heavy shit in the encore, after starting with a slow song.
Proposal: One More Light / Papercut / Bleed It Out.
Proposal 2: Invisible / When They Come For Me / Papercut / Bleed It Out.
Proposal 3: What I've Done / Waiting For The End / When They Come For Me / Bleed It Out.
Ehm... No More Sorrow Still want them to play this song.

Maybe they will play the same set all the year. When you see it first time, you will say it's amazing. At end of the year, you will say it's boring.
Isn't it normal to say that? I mean, we are excited to see what LP plays this year. The problem is that they do not change alot throughout the year.
If they would change their setlists often we would not say that.
-
I might be reading too far into this, but do you guys think that them going from Heavy straight into a classic (Papercut) was an attempt to minimize a bad crowd reaction from Heavy?
You can also see it as a sign of diversity. Going from a straight pop song to a nu-metal classic.

I like how Chester looks like a slim version of M.Shadows from A7X with the cap and the sunglasses

I wasn't going to listen to more songs before the album's release, but I ended up giving in. Great performance, one of the best songs released from OML so far. Keep in mind that the guitar might not be as audible in the studio version
Now that I heard the song with good headphones, the guitar sounds really good, really powerful
-
If the audio wouldn't suck until OSC I would get a better listen of TTM....
But the LOATR guitar sounds so nice!

Is LP big enough in the US to sell a decent amount of tickets for these stadium shows?
That's why they announced all these supporting acts. I do not think that LP and Blink could do this on their own. With all the bands a lot of people will be interested to go.
-
Yeah that's a good point. I don't think we can separate it and have just blue for Hershey, PA but not blue for the name. I'll see what we can do. This is another "first" for this touring cycle....along with many others (the stripped down performances, etc) so it takes us a little bit of time to figure out how to handle certain things lol
We can only appreciate LPL's effort.
Back to the topic. At first I was suprised why they chose this large venue. LP is known for big venues in Europe, Asia or South America. After they announced all the bands, it is definitely a stripped down Project Rev. Without Blink, MGK and Wu.Tang Clan I do not see them filling those stadiums.

I kinda feels like one of these shows going to release on DVD
If they do so, they have to promote the New York show really heavy (nice pun) that they have the them result they had for Milton Keynes
https://www.facebook.com/linkinpark/?fref=ts
So LP will be joined by Wu-Tang Cland, Blink-182 and MGK

Sadly I don't know and don't have any information on when dates will be released. LP typically announces dates and does a presale the day after. I'll let you know if any info leaks. We will have dates before the album is released is all I know. And that's on May 19th.
By the looks of it, Blink plays August 12th in Denver, which is after their UK run. And they play Knoxville on September 13th, which sets them up for Music Midtown Atlanta just after that (rumored) like Sept 16/17. This could be a very short run for LP/Blink potentially, maybe just three weeks.
Why would LP do a short tour with Blink? US did not have a proper tour since 2014. It is time for LP to do a large US tour. You can proof me wrong but that does not make any sense for me.

Just heard it and it is more instant than I expected chorus wise, though that pitchy voice in the song annoys me, I love Mike's verse, not really caring for the features. Wasn't so 'different' in sound as I expected it to be, in comparison to the rest of what we heard so far though.
Could not agree more on the pitched vocals...they used them in BS and I hated them but it feels even worse here. But the chorus sounds good to me.

Great people and insiders already heard the (fake) song on YouTube and are salty as fuck. The one with Chester's impersonator

Maximus wasn't that bad, because South American fans, those who came for LP and are not so into Heavy Metal, do not get shows every year so there it did not matter. It is different in France with Hellfest. They get shows almost every year and instead of playing a damn Heavy Metal festival LP should have played a headling show.
