  1. I’ve always hated the release. I hate the way it sounds. WID and LOATR were cool in 2017 but rips from other shows sound better, even some audience recordings. I also hate how they didn’t include all the good songs from HT and Meteora that were played. Would have been better to just released the entire Birmingham show audio and packaged that.

  2. Sorry but you have a really bad habit of trying to rewrite history in regards to why you were banned or claiming LPA bans for frivolous reasons. This isn't the first time you claimed this, and like I said before, you're absolutely incorrect. You were banned for the same exact reasons that you'll likely be banned from LPL soon too (if you're not already) which is usage of homophobic slurs, and being an all around confrontational and non-contributing person to our community. Given that you've exhibited the same behaviors here on LPL, it's honestly confusing and outright indefensible that you are still here.

I'm flattered you think highly of me, but I cannot unfortunately say the feeling is mutual. Not based off of how you've carried yourself in the LP community. Like the person in your avatar, you have a bad habit of not thinking before you speak, saying comments that land you in hot water, and then turning around and acting like everyone is simply out to get you or that you're not in the wrong. Drop the victim act man. If you knew how to ACT people wouldn't have issues with you. Period.

I know you are tempting me with your reply but I’m deciding to shut up for once so I don’t get banned.

  3. Why you are still accepted as, or even permitted to be, part of this community confounds and enrages me.

Ban me. I'm not accepted in the community, never have been. I'm on my own in those regards. Not a fan of covers, especially female singers (I hate female vocalists, not sexist, just don't like them). Hate how since Chester died everybody is suddenly this huge fan and you see all this type of stuff with movies and shit now. I mean it does sound bad, not gonna lie. Nobody is Chester and nobody ever will be. Oli Sykes said the other day that nobody sounded like Chester and nobody ever will again. I agree 100%. Even Mike. I couldn't give a fuck less if Chester didn't write a song, he sang on it, he performed it, it's his song. If it's an original piece and he sang on it, it's his shit. Like I don't care at all if Mike wrote One More Light. Chester made that song what it is. Chester sang that song. It's his song. Sorry not sorry. I was bummed at Mike's show in NYC when more than half of the set wasn't even his own music. I expected his new album mostly with a few FM songs. Maybe 1 LP song but definitely a LP song that he sang on, not Chester.

Geki, you have to be the biggest tool in the world. I honestly cant understand why you still have posting privileges on here because you really are a piece of work. And no I dont mean that in a good way.

I mean on LPA you get banned just for not liking ATS. But yeah. I get what you mean. Don't care about your opinion, though. Never had a problem with you, I always thought you were one of the cooler people in the LP fanbase and you've been through a lot in life. If I had a dollar for every person who didn't like me or hated me, I'd be rich as fuck.

  4. I of course wrote this for the LP community, but I wrote something on my Instagram for my friends and people who might not quite get it still. I wrote about my own depression and my story briefly, and thanked some friends who helped me. Maybe you guys might want to do the same!

Here's my post, if you write something similar about your own struggle, feel free to tag me. I'd love to read it. https://www.instagram.com/p/BldyGvRn2Tt/

That was a touching post from you on Instagram. The reality is - we're all human and we all should be here for one another. Just like Chester says in Sharp Edges; ''We all fall down, We live somehow, We learn what doesn't kill us makes us stronger''. I have battled depression and I still am. I hope you're good Soul, and you have a lot of people you can reach out to if you ever need to.

  5. we're all here for you

Thank you. Actually means a lot. The LP community has really become a family for everybody since last year’s tragedy. I’ve felt way more love and support from the LP community than I have from family and friends.

I’ll be ok... it’s just been a rollercoaster today. Moments of sadness, anger, feeling ok, etc. But that’s kind of been a lot of days. It’s harder today because it’s brought into the limelight today more than other days. I’m sure all fans feel the way I do for the most part. Well everyone deals with stuff different but we as LP fans feel it.

  6. Amen. Wish I could be in a more celebratory state of mind and have a good time listening to music / honoring him.

I'm gonna be honest here - I tried starting today off on a positive note. But as the day goes on, it just sucks. Today sucks. I'm still going to continue listening to him today, though. About to throw on the Hollywood Bowl Tribute right now.

  7. That would've been sick I agree, Shows off what an amazing voice he had.

That would've been sick I agree, Shows off what an amazing voice he had.

For sure. I mean, I love the album too, but I do think the acoustic renditions are really cool. Let Down and In The Darkness especially. Can't speak for Walking In Circles and Crawl Back In, but I'm 99.9% positive they are also awesome. Morning After, while it's a big fan favorite, was never one of my favorite songs. It just isn't as good as the rest of the songs, IMO. It was cool they gave it as a bonus track for the album, though. I do like this version of the song though, like I said, he made it sound cool with the screams and stuff, too.

  8. Thank you so much! Been looking for these tracks! God Let Down is amazing <3

Yeah, I love this performance of it. That's why I said before that the DBS songs really worked the best as acoustic songs. Chester said he wrote all the songs acoustically on his own first and then handed them over to the rest of the guys. Now I'm wishing that Chester had done a show where he played the entire album acoustically or something. Would have been so cool. I love the screams he does in Morning After, too. It shows that he can still scream and be aggressive even with an acoustic rendition. My Suffering and Condemned, End Of The World, Crawl Back In and Inside Of Me all would work well like that.

  9. i'll watch MTV World Stage Monterrey

    my very first concert!!! ;)

    share it please

I might not actually make a playlist. It'd be too hard to do. So many songs from everything he has done. I'll probably just be playing live shows and stuff. The main albums, etc.

  10. Well, since you guys said it was OK, I'll upload Morning After and Let Down.03. Morning After (Acoustic Live).mp302. Let Down Acoustic.mp3

I also will upload my rip of In The Darkness from the show that I have had since like 2009. It's not HQ like the two officially released tracks but it's not too bad. I like it more than 2010 live versions of the song.

Dead by Sunrise _In the Darkness_ li.mp3

I don't have any rips of the other songs but I'm sure they were epic. I hope we do get this show. It was amazing.

  11. Thanks. I've heard Morning After from that show and it sounded amazing. Do we have this show in FLAC somewhre in here?

No, it was never released. Julien-K recently said they have it recorded and are considering releasing it, so that;s epic. It also wasn't a full set, it was 5 songs, acoustic. Pretty badass, though. LD and MA were released from it and ITD has a YouTube video that is decent quality, but not great. A few clips of CBI and WIC are on YouTube as well, but not the greatest quality.

For a 2009 show, I'd recommend NYC or AAC. Hamburg 2010 is probably the best recording of the band, though. A lot of shows were epic but never recorded in full. I went to Ulalume Festival in Maryland in 2009 for DBS and they played a full set, and it was such a great show, I liked it more than NYC. They killed it that night. But unfortunately, no full recording. DBS didn't have many recordings, especially from 2009.

I always thought it was odd they did In The Darkness acoustic to kickstart DBS but then it didn't get put into the setlists until 2010.

The biggest robbery committed by that band was no USA tour. You have to tour the USA and Europe if you are LP or LP related.

Yeah, it would have been cool if they played it as a part of the 2009 sets since the album came out in 2009, not 2010. It didn't perform that well like LP did and stuff so by the time 2010 rolled along, there wasn't any hype for the album or anything. Chester should have toured September/October/November/December with a better schedule, you could easily do a proper tour of US, Europe and Asia in those 4 months, plenty of time. But it's whatever. The timing just sucked because LP was working hard on ATS, too. But Chester could have easily made it work somehow. Maybe there wasn't a lot of demand... Idk.

  12. I'll be in Tokyo (first show he announced, so instantly bought it), Offenbach, Cologne.

Was honestly thinking to go to Paris, but I just thought for myself (only my opinion) the crowd will be pretty lame since it is a festival, Mike is not a headliner and a lot people in the front rows are just there for like 30STM.

I guarantee Tokyo will be epic. Mike Shinoda in Japan, especially Tokyo.

  13. What is the best sounding DBS audience recording?

I'd say probably Hamburg 2010. I wish there were better full recordings of 2009 shows, there were a lot of shows in 2009 that weren't recorded. I think 2009 was ultimately a better year for DBS but you're also not getting Into You or In The Darkness with a 2009 show (except for the Steve Wyrick show which featured In The Darkness). So yeah, Hamburg 2010, I'd say.

  14. I might make like a 20 song playlist for the day of Chester stuff to listen to throughout the day. And I like what Loulax said, it will be a day of stages all in one day. It's been a year and I still don't think I have healed at all from it.
