I won M&G for both of the London dates but I had to sell my tickets last month because I needed the extra cash at the time. And I didn't have time to reschedule, travel down, and buy new ones because I recently moved jobs. To say I'm gutted is an understatement!

I know I'm going to piss off 99% of LPL when I say this, but why the hell should the band play stuff like Forgotten or By Myself now in 2014? Obviously they had to for Download because they were performing Hybrid Theory in full, but I don't see why they would keep stuff that was a non-single in the set now in 2014, it's been such a long time and they have a lot of music at this point. I'm sure they would rather play their bigger hits instead of stuff that people won't know. This is the same reason that I see no reason for them to play stuff like Hit The Floor, High Voltage, P5hng Me A*wy, No More Sorrow, Don't Stay, Figure.09, etc. I've never been one to bitch about how LP doesn't play their old stuff. I usually am the one to complain that they don't play enough of the NEW stuff. I really wanted them to play stuff like I'LL BE GONE, ROADS UNTRAVELED, SKIN TO BONE, UNTIL IT BREAKS and POWERLESS back in 2012/2013, but they never did. I also want them to play stuff like Keys To The Kingdom, All For Nothing, War, Mark The Graves and A Line In The Sand nowadays. Obviously the band is going to play stuff like Numb, In The End, What I've Done, BURN IT DOWN, etc. at every show, because they are the biggest hits, they aren't going to sacrifice that stuff for shitty songs like Forgotten or Figure.09, and why should they? Just to please the 5% of people at the show that can't let go of their nu-metal past? Also, I agree that Brad is not the best guitar player of our time, but he isn't THAT bad, and so what if he doesn't absolutely love the ''heavy shit''? Who cares? I also enjoy anything off of Minutes To Midnight, A Thousand Suns or LIVING THINGS way more than the old angsty nu-metal shit on Hybrid Theory and Meteora. The only song off of those two albums that I still love is Breaking The Habit, and occasionally Crawling. I also love The Hunting Party, but it's a totally different kind of heavy than LP's first two albums, for sure. What I'm saying is, LP has many different faces. Each album is drastically different from the next, except for Meteora coming after Hybrid Theory. Not everyone at the show wants to hear heavy shit. People also enjoy the slower stuff, like myself, actually.
Hi, long time lurker here, but I agree with all of this. Some people let themselves be blinded by nostalgia. We're lucky that LP even play any of their old songs, that they even power through the songs they've played hundreds of times and know like the back of their bloody hand. A lot of artists just ignore their old albums, see: Smashing Pumpkins who refuse to play most of their discography with the exception of a few new albums.
LP try to satisfy the old and the new - not many bands can say that.

I did yeah. I had to regretfully 'return' them.
