  1.

    Everyone watches porn, you liar.

I have no personal need to rip it, but some people are collectors. I support that.

Edit - also, this isn't anything to do with the industry. Live streams have nothing to do with the financial stability of the music industry. Is that $40 going to go back into the small bands that are trying to make it? What exactly does that $40 per person do to help revive the industry?

no my point is, you rip a stream, you're more than likely to download ripped music as well.

  2. Firstly, ripping off a small company? The small company are ripping off the fans. 40 bucks for a one-time-only live stream. And don't try to fucking sugarcoat it, it is what it is. Do you know how many live proshots we have from Linkin Park just this year alone? Enough for this one not to be a 'one off VIP' show.

Secondly, 'you want something, you pay for it' - wanna introduce you to this new thing, bruv. It's called the internet. It's called file sharing. Do you not support that? Do you pay for the pornography you watch on RedTube?

sorry im not sad enough to watch porn, and if you have so many why do you need to rip this one? and why do you think the music industry has to charge more? because of file sharing.

  3. So you know it but no one else? How come you have the information? As long as there is no official statement that everyone can read it's just badmouthing LP's management in my opinion.

Also no one wants to rip off a small company. We, as the fans, feel ripped off. The customer is the one who have to be satisfied and that's what a company should care for and not the other way around...

no lots of other people know, people who logged on and had a chat with the admins of the site, who, if you ask them a question will explain.

  4. Maybe the record label understands that linkin park fans leak content on LPBits and that's why they don't want to offer the download, I really hope no one gets a good quality rip from the show because if you don't pay for it you don't deserve to watch it.

Why? Because he wants to hear the show more than once? I'm paying for it and I'm definitely going to look for a rip afterwards.

no because he wants to rip off a small company

you want something, you pay for it

  5.

You know how the internet and public forums work? Because it doesn't seem like you do.

My biggest with the whole vyrt thing is that there is no download involved. I pretty much pay as much as for a live DVD but I only get the chance to see it once (at a terrible time as an European). Make it downloadable or available as a VOD and I would definitely pay for it.

I know exactly how they work and to get on here you need to answer questions about linkin park then get accepted by an admin, therefore not open publicly. and it is Linkin park or the record label stopping it from being downloadable so take that up with them

  6. To those talking about it being ripped, please don't, so far none of the VyRTs have ended up on torrents or other sharing websites, this is what makes VyRT a special experience, this is a small company and if you want to be so inconsiderate to not want to pay such a small price to see the show the but want it for free then fine. All they are trying to do is cover the costs of producing this event as so far this is the biggest event the site has hosted. And I also can't wait for the joke of so many rude linkin park fans to be over too.

    Thanks

Just on a parallel note, how would you like it if your site got opened up to the whole internet and anyone could comment anything, that's what ripping the stream basically does to that site

  7. VyRT isn't just about a live show, it's a unique live experience that you can watch with other fans and discuss what's going on. VyRT is a community where everyone chats before during and after the event. for $15 you get a one off professionally shot concert in HD, no shaky camera at all. it also give the artists a chance to interact with fans through the live chat, before and after the event. Anyone from any country is able to watch VyRT at the same time. There are no adverts or sponsorship and no breaks in the show. All the money made by VyRT is re-invested back into the VyRT platform to keep improving and expanding. Before you write VyRT off as too expensive or not as good as a live DVD why not pop in and see what it's all about. VyRT is a community and it would be great if we had some more linkin park fans join us. If you want to know any more or ask questions just log on and ask anyone there.

    Hope to see you there
