  1. There's no other CD in the package. This is it. Please refer to the pictures in the first post, the comments by the op, and Mike Shinoda's first post that was copied here, and the second post he made in the LPU.

got it :) thanks...i haven't been on the computer much, mine's broken and i'm on my father's laptop currently...it's a hassle and I didn't really want to take the time to read over everything like I normally would. It was just a theory anyways.

I've heard some of the songs on YouTube and I don't know what I think yet...maybe they'll grow on me.

  2. I moved this to the newswire since its pretty newsworthy...thanks to Astat and others who have posted this date change.

This new date is also reflected on Amazon and other online sites/stores as well. So now a Monday release date. I think it's a wise business decision, coming out a day earlier, with all the other "big" releases slated for Tuesday. (ex. Scott Weiland's Happy In Galoshes, Coldplay's Prospekt's March EP and more).

Plus, with it being the opening weekend of Twilight. It makes sense to jump on the Monday release date after the movie premiering over the weekend, what with LOATR being on the soundtrack. Perhaps that might be why Paramore's CD/DVD The Final Riot! was moved to Monday, too, rather than the 25th as originally planned.

So with all that said, thoughts?

Paramore's was moved to Monday as well? Good to know...thanks :)

I'll be buying both of them ASAP...

I guess if that's the case, it makes sense. People will get all excited about the songs and go out and buy their CDs.

  3. I wonder how much it'll cost this time again...

I just hope it'll include some fresh tracks, or it could be just a thing.

I think it's all going to be old LPU tracks and live tracks from Projekt Revolution, which in that case, I probably will not buy it. Normally I'd buy any CD/DVD that comes out, but this seems pointless to me.

I understand that they want more people to join. They want more money (not necessarily LP, but SOMEONE behind the scenes does) and they know if they put a gem like Hunger Strike on there, they'll get it. I won't be buying it because I can download Hunger Strike anywhere if I chose to and I think it's stupid. Yes, people can download songs that were supposed to be exclusive anywhere these days, but it doesn't mean that they should make them even less exclusive by releasing them to a chain store.

  4. Charging for the newsletter isn't very cool. I probably won't end up buying one, even though I'd like a physical copy. I always loved knowing a newsletter was on its way to me, now I don't have that same feeling of anticipation...

  5. I'm very excited for this. I love concept albums. My Chemical Romance's The Black Parade changed my life. I know that might sound silly...but it did. My story is right here: http://thankyoumcr.com/story/268/return/a-m-2/.

I think it would be really cool if LP comes out with a concept album.

    Year Zero was great, too.

Really? I never knew that about Inhuman Rampage. American Idiot I guess is considered a concept album, but I usually use concept album to refer to an album that tells a story, not just one who's songs all have the same theme.

No, there's a story to American Idiot. I was absessed with Green Day at one point and I knew the story back and forth. You can find it somewhere on the internet...I can't remember where now.
