Dark_Adolescent Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 That video is also on LP's youtube channel but i thought the whole legal thing meant them not bein able to post videos on there youtube anymore????Nah, they just can't have videos there containing any audio of their songs. Although Shadow of the Day is in that video, isn't it?
wiiesel Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 How cool is that....visiting LP in the studio...
Acodemaster Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 How cool is that....visiting LP in the studio... And it will be won by some lowlife who barely knows LP who thinks it would be "cool to meet a band" and who only won because they spend 15 hours a day adding people on facebook/myspace, thus causing them to have the most referrals. Sucks, doesn't it?
Jen Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Nah, they just can't have videos there containing any audio of their songs. Although Shadow of the Day is in that video, isn't it? There's different rules that non profits are governed by, as they aren't making any money off the use of the audio track. Music for Relief is a registered 501©3 charity. Plus I am sure Warner isn't complaining, they are made to look good by allowing LP to use the song in support of a charitable cause.
[AndOne] Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 And it will be won by some lowlife who barely knows LP who thinks it would be "cool to meet a band" and who only won because they spend 15 hours a day adding people on facebook/myspace, thus causing them to have the most referrals. Sucks, doesn't it? Indeed, a random winner, that would be fair.
rav0k Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Indeed, a random winner, that would be fair. I agree. Then it's a matter of chance.
