Geki
I think that if we get another Dead By Sunrise album, it won't be for another 3-4 years. Chester's main focus right now is Linkin Park and they are determined to make music faster making LP a much more time-consuming entity than it was during the recording of Out of Ashes. Chester said right from the get go with Snow White Tan in 2005 that the project would work around Linkin Park. He also said in 2005 that the record would likely not come out until after the touring cycle for the new LP record (MTM) if the album did not release in 2006. The album never ended up being released in 2006, so he began recording DBS after PR08 and then LP did New Divide and a summer tour in 2009, so he released it when LP was winding down, writing the majority of ATS. It was a smart move, people had just forgotten about the project by the time it was released, it also had an EXTREME lack of promotion, which are some reasons as to why OOA flopped on the charts. The point I am trying to make is that Chester has always worked his solo efforts around Linkin Park, so this time would not be any different than the last two LP albums. He will release the next DBS album when he sees fit and the timing is right, most likely after the next LP album and tour.
