If Linkin Park Was UnLabeled

I was just wondering that if Linkin Park would have started themselves as Vanity Labeled. Without Warner in 2000 it would have been a really difficult job to get this much famous or CD sales or anything. But Now a days Unsigned Labels are also getting good money and fame.

 

If Linkin Park would have been formed in 2010 and would have started Unsigned would they have made same fanbase, Sales and everything?

If LP formed in 2010 with the HT sound, they would instantly be brushed off by major record labels.
