thigolpbr Posted Sunday at 04:54 PM Posted Sunday at 04:54 PM My friends, we know that many people wish they could enjoy an exclusive LP show in a pre-recorded format, as the Pinkpop 2007 show occasionally appears. Based on the Pinkpop festival's initiative to create a channel and share shows recorded over the years, it would be interesting if other major events like Rock am Ring/Rock im Park, Download Festival, Reading Festival, Summer Sonic, etc., followed the same initiative as PinkPop and created a channel to share shows recorded over the years at the festival. This is a way to get historic shows not only for LP, but for other bands as well. Some examples I can think of right now: Rock Im Pack 2001 Rock Am Ring 2007 Reading Festival 2003 Download Festival 2004/2014 Summer Sonic 2006/2009/2013 I don't know if anyone from Lplive has contacted any of these events over the years to make this possible. @felipe probably did, lol. Anyway, my friends, as a community, could we reach out to these events and give them the idea that the Pinkpop festival had? What do you think? Quote
felipeintheend Posted Sunday at 05:45 PM Posted Sunday at 05:45 PM That wont happen ever. Festivals grab money from tv channels for selling broadcast licenses. WHY a TV channel would pay millions if the own festival just stream it later? No away. Most of festivals can't create a channel like that because they sold the licensing to third-party already. Not counting labels rules in the middle of all that. Chances to make this happen are like -1000% lol. Quote
