i've been meaning to ask about this for a bit now & i figured i'd do it today since this marks exactly fifty days until my show! i have tickets for their show on may 6th, i'll be going with my dad & a friend. & if you don't already know, i'm sixteen, but i've never been to any kind of concert before - let alone a linkin park show, of course.  that's mainly because i never had much of an interest for music until i found linkin park either, so of course that's another reason that i felt it'd be good to ask about it on here. at this rate, i've done pretty low level research, but i'd be happy to know anything from you guys. tips/suggestions, i mean throw out anything that you feel like i'd need to know. can be as obvious or in depth as you want to, there's probably plenty i still don't know. it would be especially helpful to hear from those of you who have gone to a show this year/last year as well! (of course i'd be fine hearing from anybody though) and thank you so much in advance to anyone who contributes.

one more thing, i feel less crazy about asking this since obviously we're all fans on here: but is there an emotional preparation side of attending a concert that any of you have gone through? not sure if it's as deep as i've made it out to be, it's just a very different feeling for me considering that i've never had this kind of connection with anything up until now. i'm assuming i wouldn't be the only one so if you feel like adding to this that'd be great as well. anyways i'll leave it at that, again thank you so much to anyone who adds to this, i really appreciate it!

I assume you have seated tickets? If so, then it will be a chilled out experience. Go there, enjoy your time together, get to your seats and have fun. It might be weird for you to see the band "in person" for the first time, as you only know them from videos and such. But that will probably settle really quick so you can get back to singing along or just sitting there and watching the show. There is not much of a right or wrong kind of thing.

If you got pit tickets, it might be a bit different. LP's shows are far gone from being "mosh"-heavy, but you might find yourself at or around the action. The most important thing: Don't panic, no one is there to hurt you, and people watch out for and help each other. If there is no moshing around you, then you will just be standing there (instead of sitting) and do the same thing: singing along, bang your head, dance ... whatever suits you. Just enjoy yourself and you will have a great time :).

Seated? that gives you an advantage in case that you want to buy some merch before the show starts you can buy anything and you wont have to worry about losing it

-the band will probably change the set a bit for the new leg of shows, i prefer to not know the setlist it gives you a better experience.

-just record some bits of the show, dont focus on your phone

-good luck with the volume level ! haha

-try to meet other fans at the show its cool to make some new friends

-visit the FOH and try to obtain the setlist of the show, for me its such a cool item to collect.

Just be in the moment. No tips to give, just go on time, do what you wanna do, and live in that very moment.

This 100%. Simply enjoy the moment, however it fits you.

About the second question, I'll tell you a personal experience.

I was pretty sure I was gonna cry before my first show last year after their return. Instead, when the lights go down and we open our eyes (sorry :)), all I feel is gratitude for experiencing a LP concert again and sharing it with great friends
