Mike and Chester on Virgin Radio France on March 27

Linkin Park is heading to Europe for One More Light promotion at the end of this week, and the stops along the way are slowly being announced.

 

The first stop is in Amsterdam, where Mike and Chester will be hosting an Up Close and Personal event in Amsterdam, Netherlands. That's March 24, and there's a week and a half of time left for the band to do more promo before the big ECHO Awards performance in Berlin, Germany on April 6 with Kiiara. We are predicting that the band plays a few more promos shows - possibly even a full show - before then, but now we have at least one more date.

 

Mike and Chester will be visiting Paris, France on March 27 - that's Monday. They will appear as per Virgin Radio at Le 118, and appearance is being advertised as a "private acoustic showcase," meaning that Mike and Chester will be playing some acoustic versions of songs! This seems like the first opportunity to hear some more stripped down versions of songs - we've heard a couple already: 'Crawling,' 'Heavy,' and 'Burn It Down' at the first Facebook Live event, and then 'Talking To Myself' and 'One More Light' at the Warner Bros. Records party. Like with the Amsterdam showcase, you can win a chance to join them at this intimate event by filling out this form (make sure your Adblock is off). You'll have to answer a question, but it won't be too hard for you lot. Make sure you only enter if you can make it to Paris on March 27.

 

A bit of Linkin Park trivia before we end the post - Linkin Park's first European show ever was actually a promo performance in France. We don't know the setlist for that first show in Paris 2001, but a day later they appeared on the Nulle Part Ailleurs show and performed 'One Step Closer,' making it their first television performance ever.

 

Take it back, old-school style with the first televised performance the band ever did.
