Taking place in Cannes from June 6-9, MIDEM is the world’s biggest international music business trade event. On Wednesday, June 7, Shinoda will give a keynote address based around technological innovation across the music industry. He will also take part in the Midemlab startup competition as a jury member, whereby a selection of music start-ups present their ideas across four main business fields: Music Creation & Education; Music Discovery & Distribution; Marketing & Data/Analytics; Experiential Technologies, covering VR/AR, high-resolution, IoT and hardware." Linkin Park begins their European Tour by headlining Download Paris in Brétigny-sur-Orge, France on June 9th, so Mike's address will be two days prior.
