Show
Monterrey 2012 marks the second release of a 2012 concert by Linkin Park, following the Living Things+ release of the June 2012 Berlin show.
Monterrey was the first Linkin Park show in Mexico since March 2002 when the band opened for Korn, and their first headlining show in Mexico ever. It came two days after Linkin Park and Incubus's Honda Civic Tour ended in California before LP headed south to play Monterrey and Mexico City. Since the show would be filmed for MTV World Stage, MTV worked with the band on a unique stage design - a combination of the Honda Civic Tour stage with some other ideas that MTV had. This resulted in a larger-than-normal stage for Linkin Park.
Setlist
At this point on the Living Things World Tour, Linkin Park was rotating three different setlists that opened with Tinfoil/Faint, A Place For My Head, and With You. The setlist chosen for this show featured A Place For My Head opening, a heavy encore of Tinfoil/Faint, Lying From You/Papercut, and One Step Closer, and a rare performance of In My Remains which was only played in 2012 (later dropped for Castle Of Glass).
See the show page here for the full setlist and show notes.

Release
MTV World Stage broadcasted the show in October 2012, about a month after the date of the performance. In the MTV World Stage broadcast, several songs were included that didn't end up on the DVD release by Linkin Park - New Divide and LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent - but What I've Done was added, which was not shown on MTV World Stage. Additionally, In My Remains and Given Up were uploaded to MTV.com, but neither were released by the band.
On May 24, 2014, Linkin Park announced, "The Best Buy exclusive deluxe version of The Hunting Party features a bonus DVD of the 2012 MTV World Stage concert from Monterrey, Mexico and can also be pre-ordered online." At first, this DVD was international-only (like Living Things+ and A Thousand Suns+), but the DVD at Best Buy was later added.
The version released on DVD came without the MTV logos shown on the MTV World Stage broadcast and featured different camera angles, etc.
