    - On January 29, 2014, Soundwave put up a press release saying, "Stone Temple Pilots regretfully cancel all upcoming shows. The recording of the new album has now gone beyond schedule and sadly the availability of the recording studio, engineers and the producer or lack thereof dictates that the band have had to cancel their upcoming engagements" On February 3, 2014, Stone Temple Pilots issued a statement reading, “We regret that, due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, our forthcoming tour dates in Australia, the Middle East and Hawaii have had to be cancelled. An initial statement citing "recording delays" wasn’t true - the conflict wasn't related to recording new STP material. We are deeply disappointed to not be able to perform these shows, and look forward to making them up in the future." The tour was cancelled due to Chester having to finish the new Linkin Park album.

    - The band performed a shortened setlist due to their shortened set time. 'Black Heart', 'Hollywood Bitch', 'Heaven & Hot Rods', 'Silvergun Superman', 'Meatplow' and 'Piece Of Pie' were all dropped, and the rest of the songs were moved around in the set.

    - Chester gave the crowd a choice between three songs to be performed since they were running out of time. 'Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart', 'Piece Of Pie', and 'Dead & Bloated' were the options. 'Trippin'' received the biggest reaction, but the band decided to perform both that song and 'Dead & Bloated'. Chester remarked that "They can turn the power off if they want.'

    - This was the first time ever that 'Meatplow' has opened an encore after Chester joined the band. As we know from the band's printed setlist obtained by a fan, 'Meatplow' originally was going to be the closing song of the main set, but, for some reason, the band decided to take an encore break a song earlier, making 'Meatplow' the opening song for the encore.

    - Stone Temple Pilots took the stage directly after Chester, Robert, and other event organizers presented a blank check to the school district.

    - No band members played with in ear monitors, the first time for Chester with Stone Temple Pilots.

    - Before 'Crackerman', Robert said that the band hadn't played together since September. It really was October, at Aftershock. Chester looked at a fan in the audience and said, "You say Crackerman? Alright." as the band started the song.

    - Dean mentioned that it was the band's first show since Scott Weiland had passed away.

    Other Notes:

    - This performance came after Chester officially left the band and was billed as a one-off reunion show.

    - The show was originally announced as being titled "From Bach to Rock", but was changed to "From Classic to Rock."

    - There were three performances during the event - a classical set, Gary Wright, Stone Temple Pilots, and an all star rock band jam. Various artists for the other performances included Gary Wright, Yutong, Chas West, Marten Andersson, Stan Sharp, Monte Pittman, Jane Lee, Lauren Mayhew, Stephen Perkins, Devin Thomas, Stephen Chesney, Grant Fisher, and Benjamin Zelico.

    - The entire band barring Chester came out and backed up Gary Wright for two songs during his set. Robert posted a picture on Twitter before the event of him and Gary together. These tracks were 'Dream Weaver' and 'Love Is Alive' and also featured a keyboardist as well as The Lovely Ladies on backing vocals.

    - Chester and Robert stayed for the after party, which included an auction with items like a pair of Chester's shoes he wore on stage, Robert's bass he played during the show, signed STP drumheads, and other items. Chester auctioned off most of the items himself.
