    - Linkin Park would perform a free show for Good Morning America's 2017 Concert Series at Central Park but canceled due to Chester Bennington's passing on July 20th. OneRepublic filled in for the band and the event took place at Rumsey Playfield. A cover of "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen was performed with Toni Cornell (Chris Cornell's daughter) as a tribute to both Chris and Chester.

    - The full band performed in a stripped down form. This is the first full band stripped down/acoustic performance for an entire set in the band's career. Only 'Crawling' was done in a piano form with Mike and Chester, as it has been done in 2017 regularly.

    - The set ended with 'What I've Done', and the fans chanted for 'In The End' as soon as the band got up to take a group picture. LP obliged and performed 'In The End' for everyone. Before the track, Mike said, "I like, never play piano on this song live."

    - Linkin Park performed a surprise show for Good Morning America on the shuttle platform at Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Several NYC-area Linkin Park fans and LPU members were invited to the public performance by the band.
