    - 'In The End' was dedicated to a fan from Poland named Karolina who was fighting bone cancer. She sent a letter addressed to Chester to the Fundacja Dziecięca Fantazja (Children's Fantasy Foundation) saying her dream was to meet the band and see them perform live. Unfortunately, Linkin Park didn't have any concerts booked in Europe and a flying her to America was impossible due to her health condition. The band recorded a video message and dedicated 'In The End' (one of her favorite songs) to her. She watched the performance and the video at the Kameralne cinema in Gdańsk. They are currently available on the foundation's YouTube channel. Karolina passed away four years later.

    - This show was never officially announced by the band, but it was announced by the festival in March 2004 and appeared on their website. Blabbermouth also posted about it, saying, "METALLICA, KORN, LINKIN PARK and SLIPKNOT are among the bands confirmed to appear at the Aerodrome Festival, a two-day event set to take place June 10-11 in Wiener Neustadt, Austria." Linkin Park fansites reported on it as well, but the show failed to appear in the official announcement of the European and Asian shows the band was playing in June 2004. The official festival's announcement of the cancellation said that both Linkin Park and Slayer had canceled their appearance at the festival, with LP cancelling all shows after June 9, 2004 in Europe. The release also said that both bands had signed a binding contract for the show. For some reason, the deal fell through for Linkin Park. They were scheduled to play before Metallica and Korn.
