  1. I'll rather have an album 2 years after release of an album over the traditional livedvd/remix 2 years after album. I don't care much about not having much info if we get a new album. I'm interested to see how it goes though. Maybe we'll see an affect on the quality of songs due to the reduced amount of time.

ATS was an amazing album. Great lyrics and atmosphere. I expect nothing less from a new album.

  2. Figure I'd join in on this debate. IMO, Meteora lyrics are more powerful than HT lyrics. HT in general only has a few memorable lines with powerful meanings. Crawling, In the end and Pushing me away I feel are the most powerful. Meteora goes a bit deeper with most of their songs. Not to mention having Easier to run. While I believe it's an underrated song, features one of the greatest lines ever writting.

"Sometimes I think of letting go and never looking back. And never moving forward so there'd never be a past"

Don't forget songs like Numb, Breaking the Habit. From the inside has incredibly powerful lyrics. I guess it just depends on what you can relate to more. I can relate more to lyrics on Meteora than on HT. I can also relate to more on ATS than all the other albums. Just about what gets to ya really.

  3. I was at the show. Cure for the itch intro was the only real surprise, though I was happy they didn't just repeat the same Vegas setlist. This time they played FTI, LFY, BITS. No breaking the habit or Messenger like last time. But LP....

Why do you never play LOATR in Vegas!?

Was hoping to hear Robot boy as well, but it was a no show =[

  4. New LPU is pretty much pathetic. I remember from LPU9, waiting for the switch to happen. Every1 was upset that now it was going to cost 60$ just for an online membership. Know what ya got for 60$? Access to the chat and new (read: terrible and no one uses) forums. So after 1-2 month delays just to get that happening, it took another 5 months for them to realize it sucked. So they installed tinychat so people can see each other, and finally brought in a package. At that point, no LPUer from LPU9 was still there and the place is pretty much dead.

I was there for the free pass. Got banned because I said "So and so said they're going to do a strip tease for us!", which was a person very close to me btw. Back in LPU9 we were free to say pretty much whatever we wanted as long as it wasn't vulgar, offensive. Ever since LPUX started you can't even so much as say the word 'strip' without getting banned. It's pretty pathetic. Never joining LPU again.

  5. I live in Vegas, so I'm excited. Little bit confused though that lpu pre-sale started today. Ticketmaster is having a pre-sale tomorrow? I don't see it saying anywhere anymore that lp.com members get a shot at pre-sale. Guess I have to wait 'till tix go public?

  6. Tell me your joking ?

I'm all for opinion, but if you want a true MMA game, Im sorry, UFC absolutely thrashes EA MMA. Its easy to get in to, hard to master, utilizes different strategys unlike this simple trash and has overall better fighters.

All I saw in the MMA game is a simple 1 button for everything slow boring game. Its just the same thing over and over. The clinch is crap.

Its worth mentioning that I wanted MMA to be a great game, I'm not a UFC fanboy or anything.

Easy to get into is not something I'll agree with. The basic button layout is quite frustrating, and to someone inexperienced, getting taken to the ground is simply game over. MMA does a great job at being accessible to every1. I'm a pretty big gamer and can adapt to games quite well, but even UFC was too much for me to bother way. Combine that with sluggish looking animations and a sloppy feel of gameplay, and you have a tricky game. Ufc lacks impact, every hit feels like it does nothing and flash knock outs don't feel very satisfying. If you can even get past the fact that the controls are majorly tedious, and animations are sloppy, you're still looking at a pretty boring game with no sense of a real UFC fight anywhere in it.

I'm not saying this MMA game is AAA gameplay, though it feels more more accessible and responsive. I found it much more enjoyable, it still has a decent learning curve to understand all thats going on, and overall I just had more fun with it.

  7. I just want to sit in my bath tub and listen to Robot Boy right now! Just go under the water and feel the music! I swear I started hallucinating when I first heard it. I was looking at the light on my ceiling and I started seeing colors and shit!

Lay off the shrooms when listening to music.

  8. I never post in LPA but just had to. I thought the album was absolutely amazing. From beginning to end it's a journey and they really pulled it off. If you don't like it, too bad that you feel that way. Many people including myself love it and I love the evolution LP has gone through.
