Also why does setlist have Roads Unraveled listed like they actually played the song?

They didn't actually play the song and it looks deceiving.

So I left after Numb to get to a concert of my own. Dissapointed in the "encore" (I'm just gonna pin when they said 4 more songs as the encore)

My thoughts on set list

- Carnivores set list was WAY better. The only song I dislike on this set list is Wastelands but the setlist does not have enough energy. Carnivores setlist had so much energy it was one of the best live shows I have ever seen.

- Obviously they will play new songs, I like the new songs this is okay with me. The rest of the set is the problem. They tried to match it to the tone of the album which will Dissapoint a lot of people

- As much as I dislike THP as a whole album. I'm Upset they Got Rid Of Rebellion and Final Masquerade. Both are two of my top 10 LP songs and they should stay around. It's weird when artists ignore the album they JUST made live. Sum 41 does this too. They play 1 song from second to last album. I just don't get it.

- Literally ALL the heavy is gone. I wouldn't have an issue with this except the fact that Given Up is missing. I think Given Up is a staple that should be in every set. There is no shame with having 1 or 2 heavy songs in your setlists.

- I'm so glad they axed most of the BS. Shortened songs are gone, Dark than Blood is gone, interludes are gone, A Light That Never Comes is gone.

- I'm sad they still try to pass the Castle of Dance off as something listenable. Castle of Glass is in my top 5 LP songs and the dance version is just awful. It ruins the song and honestly if they are going to change the set list to be more mellow, the original makes more sense anyway.

BUT I will say that as a fan going to the show, I would love this setlist. We all need to remember that it's super easy to sit and complain behind a computer screen. The set is good, the set is great even if. Especially of you go to the show. They played a lot of HT and Meteora which will appease the old fans and they played a lot of classic songs. I would have a great time seeing this setlist even if it could be better.

I find it weird to open a Metal fest with The Catalyst but then again Linkin Park has never changed setlist due to type of crowd.

i have it working on the Vorterix app on my phone but the video quality is terrible, the audio is good what is everyone elses like?

I have the opposite problem.

My video quality is good but my audio seems to be really low and my phone's audio is turned all the way up.

App worked a couple of minutes for me but now I am stuck in the loading screen. (the comments in this forum are public too, so maybe they saw it here)

Last time we had a region-restricted webcast was Fort Minor at Pukkelpop 2005, and we all know how that turned out. Hopeful that we'll get this one, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I agree with this! I'm guessing the other acts are busy during some of the tour because LP+Blink+Wu-Tang+MGK would be a really cool Stadium tour!

This also makes me wonder when they will announce the Support for the October shows. I'm hoping it's a rock band and if it is a rapper, I hope it's one I like.

Really hope Blink-182 will jump on the October shows but I'm doubtful.

Per the LP.com email, One OK Rock will be the opener for the first four shows of the tour (not sure if MGK is also doing those shows or if he doesn't start until Detroit). MGK is not doing the October shows after the break either, support act still TBA for those. Could those shows be with Blink?

Also curious when the Seattle date will show up ticketmaster. I need to buy tickets ASAP once pre-sale opens.

That makes no sense to me to drop Birmingham, Nashville and Memphis as markets when there are no shows anywhere close to those cities. Unfortunate that they skipped Georgia for the third tour in a row.

I think this gives us a better time frame, maybe people already knew this. Yesterday, when I checked the pre-sale site it said the same thing it always does. This morning it said something totally new:

LP almost always announces shows the day before the presale. That's how the band is.

 

This is an entire tour, it might be earlier. But single shows are always the day before the presale.
