  1. Yeah maybe, but the band would be repeating the same formula like in LT "TINFOIL/POWERLESS".

They repeat formulas all the time so its fine. and I think it will be a little less drastic. The Summoning with lead into War but wont necessarily sound like War is what I think

The Summoning only one minute long i take it that's a interlude

I think it will an interlude or instrumental that leads into War personally
  2. I don't think that "The Summoning" will be an instrumental, maybe this will be a short-fast song like "Bricks" of Rise Against, "Welcome To Hell" of Sum 41, "Beauville" of GOB or something like that.

I think War will be like the songs you mentioned and The Summoning will be an instrumental leading into that
  3. Anyway, I'm impressed with the overall length they managed to compile here. Not to diss ATS (I know that's a cardinal sin on another website), but ATS managed to be the longest album partly because of 6 interludes (half of which just repeated lyrics/words found elsewhere on the album). So yea, I'm more impressed with the overall track length of THP than ATS.

This is one thing I can agree with. If you count actual song times I believe THP has about 2 more minutes of actual song times (didnt count, got that stat from LPA). So that is why I am wy more exicted form the songs lengths of The Hunting Party. I feel there will be two instrumentals (TS and Drawbar) but that they wont be interludes like in ATS. This means the whole album will be actually music I think, which makes this very impressive to me. And like you said, this is no diss to ATS.

Two 5+ minute tracks and 6+ minute track. IN.

and im okay with War being short because it sounds like it will be all out heavy screaming through the entire thing so that will be epic if its true!

That's how an álbum ending should be: epic Long track

Sometimes I agree. Usually as long as the track is good bring it on! TLTGYA was great and im excited for an LP song longer! bring it on!

I think The Summoning is definitely an instrumental, maybe some type of interlude into War or something like that. Drawbar could very possibly be an instrumental, similar to the Tinfoil/Powerless type thing on ATS, since it was the demo title of Final Masquerade. I know a lot of people think it'd be strange to have a guest star on an instrumental track, but Tom Morello is really good at guitar and I think he could do something awesome in an instrumental.

I agree with you Geki. The Summoning will probably be a "calm before the storm" instrumental leading into all out heaviness and craziness of War is what I think.

I also agree that Drawbraw could be an instrumental. I just have a feeling it is. Has a really weird name for if its not an instrumental in my opinion. and they probably want to showcase Tom's guitar skills so it would not surprise me

  4. It's kinda weird that the shorter songs are together, maybe it's another Tinfoiless?

I also have faith that Drawbar isn't an instrumental, I would love to hear Chester vocals in it.

This album is going to be really powerful!

    I CAN'T WAIT ANYMORE.

I think both The Summoning and Drawbar are instrumentals.

TS will be an intro to War and Drawbar will most likely be a separate track but maybe lead into Final Masquerade

The Summoing can be an intro for the show and second song maybe will be War? :D

I still can't believe that Drawbar isn't (probably) instrumental... It's demo version of Final Masquerade, so I thought that it's another Tinfoil/Powerless. We will see...

I think they will both be instrumentals. There always could be more than one instrumental. Seems like LP is breaking the norm with this album, except the amount of tracks

well, the summoning will lead into war which seems to be a short, super heavy kick in our face. i can't come up with another explanation for those song times.

i like that they put the interlude+song at the 4th/5th place on the album, sounds fresh.

i also believe that ALITS is more of a rock ballad than a heavy rocker just like TLTGYA

true, I do like the fact that is 4/5. Feels like the perfect spot for some reason
  5. Songs We Need To See More Of: Breaking the Habit (they stopped playing it for a little bit, needs to be at EVERY show), QWERTY, Leave Out All the Rest (in full)

Songs The Band Has Been Nailing Live: pretty much every song tbh

Songs That Should Admittedly Take A Break: Ballad Medley

Songs That Would Be Gladly Welcomed Back: A Place For My Head, Don't Stay, From the Inside, Pushing Me Away, Crawling, In My Remains, Wretches and Kings, Blackout, In Pieces, And One

  6. Apparently, Derek over at LPA said that Adam said this was completely false and there will be no pre-order of THP or UIG. Wtf.... this blows.

Derek said not tonight but never said anything about soon. Could be late this week, or maybe next Monday.

The IHeartRadio button is what throws me off

its Midnight PST and nothing :(

  7. Can the word in brackets of #4 be Odyssey?

All For Nothing | Working Title (True Chainz)

Keys To The Kingdom | Working Title (Coffee)

The Wastelands | Working Title (Artillery)

Line In The Sand | Working Title (Odyssey)

Final Masquerade | Working Title (Drawbar)

    Warrior | Working Title (Warrior)

Mark The Graves | Working Title (Plato)

Also, at the first split second, you can see the title "Until It's Gone" in the video.

So 8 tracks seen in the video.

  8. LP opened for Metallic at a couple dates in 2013. We shoul get the exact dates and tours and make this very official

I'm sure Astat will know most if not all of it

  9. We should make a list of this: Bands LP has opened after the mainstream success (Because if we count all the known bands it would be so massive)

    I agree with this idea.

Pretty positive they've opened for Metallica in recent years but last time they opened for anyone in the states was Tool at the California festival in 2009.

Zero question LP plays last every night on this tour.

You are correct. LP has opened for Metallica at various festivals over the past couple of years. As far as just tours, they are always the main act now.

Edit: I remember some people complaint LP was opening for Metallica xD

  10. I haven't seen a thread like this in a whole, and I always think its fun to see people's thoughts, especially with the amount of full song demos we have from it.

My new one I just created a playlist of on my iPod:

    1. Announcement Service Public

    2. Given Up

    3. Leave Out All the Rest

    4. Bleed it Out

    5. Across the Line

    6. QWERTY

    7. What I've Done

    8. What We Don't Know

    9. Valentina's Day

    10. Blackbirds

    11. In Between

    12. In Pieces

    13. Pale

    14. The Little Things Give You Away

    Bonus Track:

    15. Not Alone

Pale seems like an odd inclusion but I've always thought either Pale or ASP could start the cd but then thought, why not both? Plus Pale is long for an intro. And very other album had that instrumental track towards then end, so it may seem weird but I thought it could work.

How would you guys re-write Minutes to Midnight or would you keep it the same?

  11. Florida's is Rick Ross jesus christ lmao

Arizona, Kentucky and North Dakota know some good music.

Not trying to be offensive, but Florida has a lot of weird/crazy girls that probably go around bumping that type of music.

And yeah, Arizona actually does have good taste in music! Living here the past two years, I can confirm that!

  12. Have any possibility of the band playing live GATS before the tour?

I think they will at Summer festivals. Makes too much sense not too, and it's a good way to promote the album.

Random personal statement: LP6 better have a song better than Radioactive Remix or LP may drop in my favorite band rankings. Still top 4 though :)

  13. Nickelback, Daughtry are some I can come up with now. But it also happens in other genres. The really urban singles for urban and rhythmic radio and more poppy ones for pop. Beyoncé's XO was poppy and sent to pop while Drunk in Love was for the urban ones. But it is a smart way to reach multiple audiences.

I know other genres do it but I've never heard of a band doing it. I'll give you Daightry. Nickelback= vomit
