Drawbar out second?
Its a top 5 song on the album.
OUT.
I guess Ill vote seeing as the song I want to lose might get out this round: War.
-
Nah, more likely that the "fans" of those bands will be bitching about how much credibility Finch, ADTR, etc. lost by doing something with LP.
These fans do way less "bitching" than you think they do.
-
>Implying everyone who goes to Warped Tour is Anti-Mainstream.What's funny is that I'll take this crowd over any USA crowd I've seen for LP 2008-now. Honda Civic Tour had crowds that just stood there like STATUES, looking at Instagram and shit and not jamming at all during the show. All show long. The Warped people are going off.
I like how all the anti-mainstream people are all like "fuck mainstream shit!" then LP comes and it's all "OH MAN LP NAILED IT, SUCH A TRUE HONOR TO BE HERE WITH THEM, THEY KICKED ASS, MIKE AND CHESTER ROCK!" etc etc etc. Epic.

Trust me, Most of the West coast doesn't get anything. It's just CaliThe best part about living on the East Coast is getting to go to cool shows like this-oh wait...
I'm so salty right now.
A. How is it your right to generalize an entire fanbase or everyone who likes a genre? It's not right. We hate when people generalize LP fans or LP themselves yet we turn back and do it to others?I like how outside of MGK, the people LP collaborated with at this show all come from bands with snobby little "scene kid" fanbases who love to pretend to be anti-establishment and hate on "shitty mainstream bands" like LP even though they probably bought their entire wardrobe at Hot Topic with mommy and daddy's money and think that makes them punk.t
B. Along with comment A, not everyone who likes this type of music buys everything from Hot Topic. I know a lot of people including myself who like this kind of music, and no, most of them don't shop at Hot Topic or buy stuff with their parents money. As for me personally, I've only bought one thing ever at HT and that was a Blink-182 t-shirt (my favoite band).
C. I like or used to like every band that LP collaborated with tonight except Issues. Does that make me snobby? Does that make me anti-establishment?
Watch yourself who're you start generalizing. I expected better from someone like you.

Weirdest thing ever. No way in hell are there any LP fans at Warped Tour.
Well, according to tweets ive been seeing, some LP fans were already going to Warped Tour.
But, anyways, they need to play a very heavy set. Don't go to warped and play Numb.
Play stuff like Victimized/QWERTY

1. Mark the Graves
2. A Line In the Sand
3. Rebellion/Final Masquerade
5. Castle of Glass
6. Leave Out All the Rest
7. Breaking the Habit
8. Skin to Bone
9. In the End
10. Roads Untraveled
Besides the addition of 'The Hunting Party' songs, Skin to Bone, In the End, and Roads Untraveled moved higher on the list of my favorite songs. LOATR has made the top 10 again, which it was in for the longest time until 'Living Things' came out -
After 'Meteora'
-
Q1 and Q2 (really should be no difference):
1. Mark the Graves
2. A Line in the Sand
3. Rebellion/FM
EDIT: Holy crap, LPL can now do double polls
-
No HV and MD
-
1. War
2. Keys to the Kingdom
3. Until It Breaks
4. Hit the Floor
5. Easier to Run
-
Rob Leveled up on this trackAll I have to say is Rob..

So I haven't said much on this site, but I love it. THP is 4/4 and shaping up to be their best album yet.
I also find it funny how the songs got better with each release. Rebellion>Wastelands>UIG>GATS (IMO)
Really love this song! Exicted to hear FM soon!
-
wait, so you can't hear Page on the song? Is that what I am understanding?
-
I'm brave, I haven't listened to this shit.
Good Job
-
Trust me, I would never say I liked it more than MTM. Find evidence of me saying that! Cuz MTM has always been my favorite album.
I know you are in love with it and have always liked it the best which is why I was shocked you said something different. It was in the shoutbox so I can't find anything
-
Wastelands Artwork confirmed real from linkinpark.com download!
This mean I could be right about iTunes Countdown after all and we could hear Rebellion and FM soon
Hopefully before the album leaks!
-
it's not on the UK store.
you can "view" it, but it directs you to the THP album page.
honestly, this art look fake even if Wastelands is on iTunes RU. it doesn't have the same style, it feels 'cheaper'
It is not on US yet either. Im sure we will get it later tonight. As far as the artowkr, the other two besides Wastelands look real to me. But I have no reason to doubt it whatsoever because Spotify is as legit as you can get.
-
Okay, I think I understand now, thanks!
Just to clarify, it's basically an artist releasing a certain amount of songs periodically leading up to the album release?
Yes, and the usual method is through Itunes which is why it got I believe unofficially named an "Itunes Countdown"
Also From LPA, Wastelands is avaliable in Russia:
Apparently, he got it right this time. Wastelands is out on iTunes Russia, so it may be out tonight in the US/UK store.https://itunes.apple.com/ru/album/the-hunting-party/id873395041

Honestly, I can see this being an issue in the future with fans of music at shows.
I can agree with this! happened a lot at KMFA day in AZ
-
I havent said much on here sijnce I usually comment more on LPA
But I LOVE this song. I think it's the best of the 3, barely ahead of UIG. Wastelands>UIG>GATS. But I love them all! 3/3 so far!
This album is shaping up to be their best album yet for me! And Like Danielpsoad said, apparently these songs ardent even the highlights of the album!
Ive heard great reviews from every track. Some didn't like "War" because its a punk type song and a lot of LP fans dont like punk. But besides that the reviews havent said a bad thing about this album.
I have a feeling KTTK and ALITS will be my favorites but we will have to wait and see.So far this album is blowing away any other LP album away. If all the tracks are at least as good as GATS this will easily be their best album yet.
The only song im hyped less for than the rest is Final Masquerade. I don't even know why, I just always forget the song exists and stuff (until it recently showed up on Spotify, now ill never forget about it.) But even with not much hype for this song, Im sure its amazing! Aparently its the second softest track on the album (UIG being first) but also has energy to it! So im exicted to see how it and the whole album turns out!
I don't see how this labeled as a Nu Metal track by fans. Give them this after three albums and around 10-15 ballad tracks and all of a sudden one rap/rock song is nu metal. Doesn't make sense to me. I guess "Bleed It Out", "Wretches And Kings" and "Lost In The Echo" were the OMG LP MAKES NO PROGRESSION Y NO 5 MINUTE LULLABY?!?! tracks of the past album cycles. Not saying you guys are hating, just well that other fan base..the um, I don't even want to say the website. You know, them guys.
Are you calling out LPA?
Cause that definitely not necessary AT. ALL. No reason to hate on LPA. Cant we all just get along.
Also, if you are. No one on LPA has said its a nu-metal song. We have compared it to "Meteora" and a lot of us are claiming it's what "Meteora" should have been. But no one has actually said it is nu-metal. I havent seen that word once when describing the song. And Ive read every post on LPA about it.
-
I never said I liked LT more than MTM, I said LT was my second favorite LP album. MTM has always been my favorite album as most of everyone on LPL already knows. But the description for Keys to the Kingdom is making me think it might become my new favorite LP song. I am a BIG fan of Chester's screaming (actual screaming, not the rapsy stuff he has done with the other HP stuff).
Are you sure? You said LT was your favorite in the shotbox once. and we were all surprised

Can someone explain what iTunes Countdown is? I've heard that term a lot around here recently
Ill try to get to the point. Tell me if you need more clarification as I have confused people before explaing this.
An Itunes Countdown is when an Artist releases music prior to an album release through Itunes as a special thing.
Some emxamples to put it in perspective:
The normal type: A band releases a song a week leading up to the album. Usually between 3 and 5 songs.
Coldplay's "Mylo Xyoto": Coldplay released a song a day the week before the album.
One Republic's "Waking Up": One Republic released one song every two weeks (I believe 3 songs) up to the release of the album.

Awesome! Someone bring an actual Camera please!
