This is a relatively misinformed comment so please correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't believe a lot will change on the direct LP front however I think discontinuing the Warner contract will allow room for side projects to grow e.g. Machine Shop Recordings amongst other projects. Warner seems to stem projects which makes me wonder if Mike has been abstaining from a new Fort Minor album until the contract with Warner has ended.

As I stated before, a misinformed statement so please feel free to correct me.

EDIT: Just read above statements about Machine Shop. Damn that's a shame because Mike & Brad were super passionate about MSR.

Weird, Im the complete opposite. Id kill to see this played live, it sounds amazing...

I watch Live In Texas just for this and A Place For My Head.

A setlist including P5hng Me Aw*y, LITE and POWERLESS would make me a happy boy.

I already know that the rest of the setlist will be a wicked set of hits but these three need to be in there. I'm not normally a big POWERLESS fan but I can imagine it being such a good live performance.

Would I be right in saying that the link in the original post is the one that the LPU were supposed to get a free download for ? Because

a ) I didn't get a code

and

b ) it's just downloading now saying that i purchased it.

I am so confused right now.

Haha I hate the fact that the audience gets progressively louder and then they are magically cut when Chester begins to sing but I understand that this happens in the stream as well so thank you for this.

Nope. Keep an eye on his soundcloud for updates. This is where he has released all other mixtapes & assuming from his previous tweet he will release the Nu Metal Mixtape here too.

I'm not sure what to think just yet.

It feels slightly Julien-K ish but it doesn't seem like it's THAT exciting.

but it's not bad.

It's just your average slow paced electro rock track.

They've been saying that since 2008. Just wait until the side projects start creeping up. Mike's scoring a film now. Something else will come up. Then another. It always does, you just have to be patient.

Mike has finished scoring The Raid. The movie is completely finished.

And at this point in time, there are no side projects being worked on.

As long as it stays that way, this will be the first album since Meteora that's had no side distractions.

As you've said, anything is possible and maybe some side projects will start creeping up but for now I'm keeping my hopes up.

I'm certain it won't be that soon but I'm confident it will be released before 2013.

Mike has been saying in all interviews that he wants this album to come out faster than any other album which is why they're not doing many shows right now.

Especially if they've been writing songs on the road for the A Thousand Suns World Tour.

I like it. To be honest, it's nothing spectacular but it is pretty cool.If SDC were on tour with Linkin Park again at any point, it'd be sick to see them debut Robot Boy like that.

His discussions at the end of ATL were hilarious. I told him earlier in the day that Chester sounds obnoxious on WFTE bridge and rapping parts when he tries to do it with Mike and I HATE IT.

 

WFTE comes around and bam Chester can't be heard ANYWHERE LOL. After the show he's like "that's for you!!".

Hahaha, this made my day.

Over in New Zealand, we have all been watching and praying. It's on the headlines of every newspaper and every news bulletin and everyday looks just as devastating.

I don't have a credit card (or much money left at all, for that matter) but I will talk to the family about donating and until then, my thoughts and prayers are with Queensland and Melbourne.

It had downloaded ten percent and then it stopped and said that files are missing.

I deleted any file to do with the torrent, downloaded the torrent again and tried again but now it just won't download, even though there are five seeders and no leechers.

Am I the only person who is having troubles with Paris?

The only song I've really listened to on No Sun Today is actually is Drag but it is such a good song. I will get around to listening to the whole album some day.
