Really fun show, even with the start being pushed back 40mins. Have to agree with those being against the shortened songs. While it's awesome to see that many songs on the setlist it's just disappointing to be jamming to a song and it only lasts a minute.

On a semi-related note,

does anyone know why the show was at the baseball stadium instead of the ampitheater at the fairgrounds where they usually play in Tampa?

I heard from a guard there they didn't think the amphetheatre would sell out, so they held it at the field.

Did they start at 9:20? Or is the start time 10pm?

Weird setlist and the crowd was meh. Other than that Leto sang much more tonight than the first time I saw him at the Big Ticket last year in Jax, so that was nice lol.

30SM has 3 songs left tops. Really hope it starts sooner than 10 lol.

Can someone please explain why they remixed the song when they used the original throughout the movie?

Freaking awesome movie BTW. To all the doubters on song choice, it fit perfectly throughout.

Original is way better, but that was a badass performance.

Yea, M&Gs are done when opening bands are playing. But you shouldn't have much of a problem shoving your way to the front.

West Palm August 10, 2007. I'll never forget it. 2nd best day of my life. My first is January 20, 2011, my 2nd one where I got to meet the band.

Who the hell cares if DSPs are complete or not. Every one gets edited when it's mixed anyway, so it's already not the same as being there.

Cool show, I got a meet and greet with my friend, which was really awesome, and I got to try and watch a Linkin Park show from a distance where you can see the whole scene and the videos on the screens. The sound was way better in the back, but I did miss the vibes from the hardcore fans that were up front. My sister and my friends dad aren't in the LPU, so they got up front, but my sister fainted because of the pressure from the crowd, so they missed the end of the show. Fuck the guy who was crowdsurfing there, and possibly knocked my sister out

Each code is unique. It can't be used more than once.

you got to be kidding if you were waiting some like that, right?, i mean, they rarely play songs unrehearsed, and how many times they've rehearsed those songs this year...zero. last year?, barely one, if i recall right. unless they do last time changes, those songs won't come out. all planified setlist have songs rehearsed beforehand, or constantly played during ATS tour.

Not taking sides or anything, because I couldn't really care less if PoA is played or not, but do they really have to rehearse it? They've only been playing it for 11 years now...

Looks like the reason it came out so quick was because he didn't fix any of the mistakes, it's uncut from beginning to end. All in all, excellent start to the 2011 DSPs!

thanks! My M&G is gonna be halfway through DIOYY so i'll be able to see a bit of them,go the the M&G and hopefully then get to see a bit of pendulum. I'm skinny so I'll be able to work my way up close lol

I'm sure I could have seen a song or 2 of DIOYY but I wanted to make sure I wasn't late. It was my first M&G so I wasn't missing it for anything. Before you head to the pit go and find the LPU banner so you aren't running around the place right before 8:30.

around what time did the atlanta M&G take place? like approx. how many hours before LP played? if its during the opening bands...i'm debating whether to go to the M&G or wait in line and listen to the opening bands since they both 2 of my favorite bands as well.

Sunrise was horrible. It may have been the crowd, not too sure, but I was on the right side about 5 people deep and I could just hear the bass and that was about it. I could barely hear any vocals or guitar. But the crowd was rocking, so that may have had something to do with it. Having said that, it was still the time of my life. Don't worry too much.

Also, talked to Hugo in the M&G. He said the best seat in the house was center stage near the back of the floor. You get all the visual and audio effects the band worked on. If you aren't too worried about being close, I'd suggest that.

People that went to the show, what kind of t-shirts did they have and how much?

They had about 10 different kinds of shirts. All were either $35 or $40.

So glad to see Iridescent. I'd rather have that than Blackout any day.

Another note that I didn't see, I may have looked over it but Brad was missing from the M&G because of the sickness.

Meaning they wont let you take pics with just band members. They take group pics at the end of the m&g now i believe.

Ok, at first I thought they meant that at the end they'll take just one picture with everyone from the M&G and the band. Thanks.

Does this mean individual as in me and Chester or won't be just me with the band?
