  1. Oh yeah that’s right, I remember now. Time flies. And that would be awesome if we do. Can’t wait for the show.
  2. I wanted to comment on this a few months ago so sorry for the necropostage now but, I do think maybe that the band wants to save demos for future box sets, although, they have so much music, I’m sure they could give us 10 demos per year once again if they wanted. There are some demos from HT and Meteora that were missed on the box sets, those would be cool to potentially get, such as a Don’t Stay, Nobody’s Listening and Numb demo. HT there was a lot of stuff we didn’t get. Maybe they could collab with Jeff Blue for it? In my dreams haha. MTM they surely will save for MTM20 in 2027. I think ATS will for sure get a 20 package too, but maybe the later albums won’t, so they could give us demos from those albums too. Anyways, I am a LPU member currently. I originally was one from 3.0 through 16.
  3. My only 1 complaint with this album cycle is that the music videos have been a little cringe-ish but it’s ok. The songs are great and the live shows are great.
  4. Pretty epic for the band to play somewhere like this, just hope they are safe. They definitely need to do India and Australia/New Zealand at some point, I always see posts from fans from both places.
  5. I remember playing it when it first came out with my ex-gf laying in her bed at her old house. Haha. We beat it pretty quickly. 8BR was actually pretty epic, looking back on it.
  6. I feel you on the socks and coasters. The koozie is dope, too.
  7. I don’t mean to take away from the From Zero hype (epic album), but Collision Course is turning 20 at the end of this month. I know Mike said that they liking won’t be doing anything for it, BUT what if they just gave us LP’s songs from the set at The Roxy on YouTube? Wouldn’t require any kind of release, it wouldn’t be hard for them to do, just a little nod, something the fans have wanted for a while. Personally, I don’t mind that they aren’t celebrating Collision Course 20 because there really isn’t any demos to release or B-Sides. Don’t care if there isn’t any merch, although maybe 1 shirt would be ok. I do hope they could give us the LP set from The Roxy, though!!! I don’t see why they couldn’t, legally. Some people have said it’s too hard to release stuff with Jay-Z but this is just LP’s own songs from that set. No Jay-Z, although if they want to give us the whole show, hell yes. I mean they surely own the rights to Collision Course, no? They reissued it in 2014 on blue vinyl (I own it and they included the Roxy and Making Of DVD in it’s own DVD slip case with it), plus released Collision Course again on vinyl a few months ago. So I think they could give us The Roxy show. Maybe LPL can ask Mike specifically for the LP portion of The Roxy set on YouTube for November 30th? He seems to be listening to what fans want lately!! This is likely our only chance to ever get this released.
  8. It’s cool that they are showing it theaters like they did with Webster Hall in 2007 and Berlin in 2012. But maybe a different show for a From Zero live album would be better… Like a really cool venue or a show later in 2025.
  9. I believe I very briefly met you at Mike’s NYC release show for Post Traumatic with Mark but I could be wrong. But yes, it would be nice to meet you! Hope to see you there. As I’ve got older I usually just go to one show per tour now unless there is a special show in the North East, but I’m 100% going to the Boston From Zero show. No matter what I’m always at the Massachusetts shows for LP and the side projects, Fort Minor in Boston in 2006 was my first ever concert, and I was at both STP shows in Boston with Chester (went to other states too) and the last show I ever saw Chester at was the late 2016 show with Kings Of Chaos in Boston. Have you ever been to a LP related show in Mass? I know Mark has, I believe Mansfield 2012 and 2014 for LP. It would be cool to see LPL on Geki turf! Sorry for the long post haha, but hope to see you there.
  10. I know this thread is old as hell now but they did release the Special Edition on vinyl in 2023. I hate that Mike put Welcome on the tracklisting, it almost made me not want to buy it, as it annoys my OCD a lot and I don’t consider true Fort Minor, not to mention it was never a part of the album cycle at all.
  11. 100% dickless clique. Funny ass line, haha.
  12. I’m not sure what the fuck I was thinking when I first made this thread. Out Of Ashes is my second favorite album of all time, behind Minutes To Midnight by LP, then Hybrid Theory after Out Of Ashes and then Meteora. I fucking LOVE Out Of Ashes. Honestly, Let Down was the only demo that we have heard so far that I believe was 100% better than the final version. I believe the final versions were better than the other demos we got so far. Walking In Circles is a cool demo but the final version is better, IMO, that guitar solo adds so much to it and the vocals sound better. My Suffering has epic verses in the demo but ultimately I think the final version is better. The chorus is 100% better in the final version. Vocals are better. Fire’s demo is cool too but the final version is better ultimately. Give Me Your Name and Into You’s demo’s are no where near as good as the final versions, the vocals are so much better in the final versions. Morning After also sounds better, even though Elias didn’t record drums on it. I do like the demo actually for Morning After, though. 20 Eyes probably sounded way better in the version recorded for the final album, if they did one. Although the demo is pretty damn fucking awesome, just needed better mixing and mastering and volume properly adjusted and all shit. Death To Analog is my favorite Julien-K album by far and I do fucking love it, probably my 6th favorite album of all time, after Fort Minor’s The Rising Tied at number 5. Both albums are amazing to me, Death To Analog and Out Of Ashes.
  13. Jaime is insane. Nobody should listen to anything that he says. Although, I do feel somewhat bad for him, but still. He reminds me of myself when I used to go on crazy conspiracy theory rants and stuff. I think he is just really angry but doesn’t know how to cope with it, same with me when I was in my 20’s and younger. Anyways, I believe he is referring to how the label didn’t support the band at all and made it very hard for them to do the stuff that they wanted to do. Church mentioned that once a long, long time ago, he actually also mentioned that they wanted to do a U.S. tour in 2010 after the Asian and European dates but the label wouldn’t support it at all. I guess Chester could have funded it himself like Mike did for the U.S. run that he did but maybe he couldn’t or just felt defeated at that point. The sound of the record is something Chester wanted. Nobody forced him to make the songs a certain way, that’s all bullshit, despite what anyone says. Howard was a cool producer, and he let Chester do what he wanted, I remember him telling Chester, this is YOUR record, when discussing the double and triple harmonies. Chester is the one who changed the songs if you listen to the KROQ 2009 interview that the band did. He said he wasn’t happy with the original version of Fire and wanted to change it, probably felt the same way about the original versions of Too Late and My Suffering, and other stuff that he changed. Actually I think he did mention that the original version of Too Late was too personal about his relationship with ‘’his God’’ so he wanted to change it. He also said he wrote Inside Of Me and Condemned in one night when he felt like the album needed some big rock songs. All of the stuff was written by Chester 100% Ryan said, they just added music and production to whatever Chester wrote. I know Ryan said in 2012 that he believed the label saw the album and wanted it to be more polished and shiny and that the album had more of a grip to it before with heavier instrumentation but the actual songs were what Chester wanted. Chester even said himself that at the end of the day, whether the album did well or not was reflective on him because these were his songs the way he wrote them and nobody else. Even in Grey Daze and LP, he had Sean and Mike write lyrics with him, the DBS stuff was 100% Chester lyrically, probably the only music that he ever made that was TRULY just him. He even asked Twitter in 2010 after the OOA cycle was over if he made a bad album, because it didn’t sell well. He then came to the conclusion that it was the lack of promo, not that the songs were bad, as fans reassured him that. As much as everyone hates Sean, he was right when he said that Warner made it hard for Chester to do stuff outside of LP. We know this. Even the DBS stuff, they didn’t REALLY want it to come out, even though Mike and LP always supported Chester’s endeavors outside of the band, that didn’t mean that the label did. The label did the same to Mike’s endeavors outside of LP too, look at what happened with Reseda Beach and S.O.B.! I bet they didn’t love Fort Minor coming out either, especially when Mike slammed some of the people on Get Me Gone and High Road and shit. As Ryu said on that GBC song ‘’people at Warner are fucking high as hell.’’ LOL.
  14. All the Dark Mode songs so far have been really epic, IMO. Will be a good album. Btw, does anyone know if Trauma Echoes became Dark Mode? Same album? Or was Trauma Echoes completely scrapped? I suppose I can ask JK on Patreon, I usually talk with them on there.
  15. I thought I replied to this back when first posted. Anyways, here are the tracklistings. 1st Pic: 01. Someday Soon 02. Kick The Bass 03. Look At U 04. Technical Difficulties 05. Dreamland 06. Alibi 07. Maestro 08. F*** Song 09. Cowboys + Runaways 10. Do You Still Need Me 11. Everyone Knows 12. The Postman Is Always Right 13. Antix 14. Stick On The Disc 15. ??? You ??? Can’t make out fully track 15, but I BELIEVE track 12 is The Postman Is Always Right, weird title. This board was likely started in 2003, when the earliest demos were written, they released some stuff from 2003 online way back when, essentially the same as the 2004 demo mixes we got of a few songs but a little different. The songs listed here were probably listed in the order they were written like the DBS original board was. A lot of this stuff was probably written in 2004 (we know from demo dates on Time Capsule). Some other stuff in 2005, when Chester lived with Ryan, when Chester wanted to join the band, he essentially worked on all of these songs with the band as the songs grew, etc. Alibi and Cowboys + Runaways were released on Time Capsule. Everyone Knows was as well but was released online prior to it in 2010, I believe, maybe 2011. F*** Song is Waking Up from the Shadow The Hedgehog soundtrack, the band gave us the F*** Song demo version through Patreon. They also gave us Antix and Stick On The Disc through Patreon. Do You Still Need Me is a song we know nothing about, same as the 12th and 15th tracks, maybe someday we can get those, although maybe unlikely since the band stopped releasing demos on Patreon. Maybe DTA20 if they do one in 2029? 2nd Pic: 01. Someday Soon 02. Kick The Bass 03. Look At U 04. Technical Difficulties 05. Dreamland 06. Futura 07. Maestro 08. Waking Up 09. Cowboys + Runaways 10. Death To Analog 11. Systeme De Sexe 12. Killer Instinct 13. Disease 14. Killing Fields 15. Dystopian Girl 16. Forever 17. Never Say Never 18. Stranded 19. Spiral This board is likely from 2006 or beyond, as we know Killing Fields was written in 2006 and it has other songs that weren’t on the other board. This board all the songs that made the final album as well as the two proper B-Sides for it, Dreamland and Killing Fields. We know that they shelved the album in 2006 when it was done being written much like they did with the original DBS album. They gave us the original demo for Futura through Patreon, not sure if the version on this board had the DTA Mix label as of yet, but this is probably referring to that final version. The Never Say Never cover was released as Nvr Say Nvr on the album. Cowboys + Runaways and Killer Instinct were both released on Time Capsule. Fun fact about Killer Instinct, in the notes for it on Time Capsule, they say it was written for a popular upcoming TV series at the time, but it was never used. I believe it was Dexter, which aired in 2006. The reason I say this is because we know Chester and Ryan and Talinda all watched Dexter together every week, the band posted about this once, and we know it was essentially Chester’s favorite series of all time, he talked about it on Loveline 2006, and when Dr. Drew asked him about the main actor’s name who played Dexter, Chester told Talinda ‘’text Ryan, he will know’’. Of course I could be wrong but the song title and lyrics make me think of Dexter’s character, the song has that dark moody kind of almost stalker vibe, etc.
