  1. IMO it's definitely the warmup and not a stamina issue. The performances have come after a few minutes of interviewing, which negates whatever warmup he had. Even Mike sounded better on the third encore livestream with Kiiara which suggests neither were warmed up for the interview shows--it can't be a stamina issue with mike because he doesn't sing much. More evidence that it's a warmup issue: they transposed Heavy even though Chester sang it well in original key both times he was warmed up (Livestream, James Corden)
  2. That's a fair point. Then again, it could also be an issue of the mixing on the stream. There were times when Chester's mic got cut off the stream (such as during New Divide) even though judging from the video feed it was playing fine at the venue and everyone could hear him. There were a few issues with the sound throughout the stream so it could be that the crowd volume was mixed in at a very low level or at some points nonexistant.
  3. As I said before, it's not the fans' fault this time. It's the fact that there are chairs everywhere, not to mention government SWAT teams. At Rock in Rio USA the fans were quiet because they didn't want to get loud for anything other than Metallica (with the exception being One Step Closer). This concert they were quiet and lifeless because they had no choice.
  4. He hasn't been as energetic this concert and he isn't doing as many screams as he usually does...maybe because the atmosphere that the Chinese government has created isn't helping him feed off the crowd's energy. Then again, he might be a bit sick. He's still hitting some impressive notes though: his clean singing today is as good as I've heard from him in 2015
  5. The stream's working for me but I live in Taiwan. So I guess it really is just available to Asia first. Just a few quick thoughts: it seems like the overly controlled setting is making it difficult for the crowd to get as involved as they'd like to. Make no mistake, this isn't Rock in Rio where it seemed like the crowd was full of Metallica-only fans who wouldn't make noise except for OSC. The camera panned the crowd a few times and the kids who knew the song were going wild but the adults were comparatively subdued--I'm assuming this is because of all the security and restrictions etc. I also think this is affecting the performance a bit as it's a bit awkward for a Linkin Park concert. They're playing well but there are times where it seems like the band is having trouble getting into a zone: a good example of that was during Given Up when Chester had to stop belting midsentence because he couldn't swear. ok no more spoilers from me
