Stone Temple Pilots to Play Stars of the Season

Stone Temple Pilots is going to headline the 2013 Stars of the Season Fundraiser benefiting the Cardon Children's Medical Center, as Stars of the Season just announced on their facebook.

 

Chester and his wife Talinda, have both been heavily involved in this Medical Center, Chester by visiting the children and performing at the fundraiser, and Talinda by visiting with their therapy dog Bruiser and being on the board for the fundraiser to help organize it.

 

According to this article, it will be his fourth year to headline the event.

[Three] years ago, Bennington shared the benefit's spotlight with Art Alexakis of Everclear. [Two years ago], his other musical project, Dead by Sunrise, performed. [Last year], he assembled an all-star band with the Cult's Billy Morrison, Billy Idol guitarist Steve Stevens, Elias Andras of Dead by Sunrise and Robbie Merrill of Godsmack.

The show will be on October 26, 2013.
