marferr
Hey! Does anyone noticied a quite poor sound quality of Meteora 20 vinyls? Today I listened to Nottingham and the sound was scrappy and not clear as it should be. Side 4 even was dropping out right channel and the volume fluctuated at some points. Then Meteora itself was not great as well. I even thought that there is something wrong with needle of phono. So I played original vinyl from 2003 and sound was great! Now i am listening to Live in Texas and master is quite OK. Thanks for your repaly. marferr
Thanks for answers! Thats correct. OML vinyl sounds bad as well. But the old ones as original HT, Meteora, MTM and ATS sounds great! In my opinion Reissueses of these ones are mastered different way and vinyl are manufactured in different factories. That is shame someone did not noticed it during soundcheck of the vinyl before the release. LPLStaff
Would be interested in a Nottingham vinyl rip to see what it sounds like. Quote Link to comment https://lplive.net/forums/topic/15038-meteora-20-vinyls/#findComment-320040 Share on other sites
