    - The Linkin Park stage was already set up with fans in the crowd before this show was cancelled.

    - There were three announcements on the cancellation of this show. First, Linkin Park posted an announcement on the band's website that read, "We have been forced to cancel tonight's concert at the Hultsfred Festival in Sweden and tomorrow night's show at the Greenfields Festival in Interlaken, Switzerland as guitarist Brad Delson is ill and under doctor's orders to rest for a few days. We sincerely regret this unavoidable cancellation and apologize to fans for any disappointment caused." Next, Mike updated his blog to say, "to all the swedish fans: we are extremely sorry about the cancellation of the show tonight. we all sincerely wanted to come and play for you, but our boy brad is sick. this afternoon, the doctor ordered that brad not travel, so the show became an impossibility. we were obviously very disappointed and frustrated. we rarely cancel, and i know this is the second time we've had to cancel playing there. the band feels very bad about this uncontrollable situation, and hope to make it up to you as soon as we can…", and finally the band released a statement to Swedish press saying, "We are immensely disappointed and frustrated to be unable to play for you at Hultsfred today. We were so looking forward to entertaining and experiencing the crowd at your amazing festival but illness means it is totally impossible. We hope to make it up to all our Swedish fans as soon as we can."

    - As mentioned above, this was the second time that the band had to cancel their appearance at the festival, the first coming in 2003.

    - With all festivals, we list the other bands that were playing before Linkin Park on the same stage. In the case of this show, we are unsure of who exactly was on the Main Stage before LP. If you have any information and can help us out, please let us know! We have narrowed it down to most of these bands likely playing on the same day as Linkin Park.

    - At the time, Music For Relief would auction off a pair of M&G passes for the band each show via an online eBay auction, which usually went for a significant amount of money. In the case of this show, Music For Relief posted eBay auctions for most shows on the band's European Tour in June 2008 all at once. This show in Istanbul was listed at Kuruçesme Arena. However, once we reported on the show, the auction was removed and a show in Mannheim, Germany for the same day was added at a later date. Linkin Park ended up later kicking off their 2009 Summer Tour in Istanbul, but at Istanbul Park.

Bridge & Ending w/ Street Drum Corps Show Notes:

    - Mike rapped verse one of 'Petrified' over the intro of 'Points Of Authority' and verse one of 'There They Go' over the outro.

    - Mike rapped the first verse of 'Hands Held High' over the Reanimated intro to 'Crawling'. Chris Cornell then joined the band for the song and sang the entire second verse, the outro, and Aaron's harmonies. Chris messed up on his part, skipping the second 'confusing' near the end of the song.

    - Street Drum Corps performed on the intro to 'One Step Closer', and came back out on the bridge of 'Bleed It Out'.

    - Busta Rhymes, his backing vocalist Spliff Star, and Adam Monroe (keyboardist) from ASHES dIVIDE joined the band for 'We Made It'.

    - This was the second time 'We Made It' was performed live - the first time in front of a major audience.

    - Rob's drum solo was done before 'Bleed It Out' began, and Street Drum Corps came out in the middle of the song where his drum solo was normally done in the past. He did his solo on a special drumset at the front of the stage.

    - 'What I've Done' was dropped from the setlist due time restrictions by the venue. This was the only show of the Minutes To Midnight touring cycle that did not have 'What I've Done'.

    - This was a modified version of Setlist X from the European Tour, except with 'We Made It' instead of 'Reading My Eyes'.

    Debut(s):

    - This was the first time that 'We Made It' was performed live.

    Other Notes:

    - Chester joined Chris Cornell for 'Hunger Strike'.

    - This show was announced on October 3, 2008, just three days beforehand. A press release on the Verizon Wireless website read: "LAS VEGAS, NV — The University of Nevada Las Vegas has won the Verizon Wireless “Remix2Win with Linkin Park” national contest thanks to Valerie Cossio, Class of 2009, who submitted the winning remix. Cossio’s prize, as a representative of UNLV, is a private Linkin Park concert for 2,000 of her fellow Rebels. The concert will be held at The Joint in Las Vegas on Oct. 6, 2008, and those who attend will also hear Cossio’s winning remixes of Linkin Park’s hit songs “Crawling” and “In the End.”"

    - On October 6, 2008, Verizon Wireless released another press release about the show saying, "LAS VEGAS, NV — Following a statement issued by Linkin Park regarding the cancellation of tonight’s concert for UNLV due to the injury of lead singer Chester Bennington, Verizon Wireless’ Ed Ruth, director of digital music for Verizon, said the following: “Verizon Wireless congratulates the University of Nevada Las Vegas and Valerie Cossio for winning the ‘Remix2Win with Linkin Park’ national contest. We sincerely regret that tonight’s concert has been cancelled due to these unforeseen circumstances. Verizon Wireless will be in contact with the University and Valerie as soon as more information is available about the band’s health and schedule.”" The official announcement by Linkin Park read: "Los Angeles, CA (October 6, 2008) - Linkin Park has been forced to cancel tonight's concert at the The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel, as lead vocalist Chester Bennington has sustained a back injury and is under doctor's orders to rest. Linkin Park sincerely regrets this unavoidable cancellation and apologizes to fans for any disappointment caused." Mike posted this on his blog: "FROM MIKE: We're bummed...Chester hurt his back, and is in quite a bit of pain. Please think good thoughts for our friend."

    - Instead of rescheduling the show, the band flew Valerie to Europe to see them perform on July 21, 2009 in Athens, Greece along with giving her a M&G pass.

    - The day after this show was supposed to take place, the band canceled their Asia Tour.

    - On October 7, 2008, the band posted the following statement on linkinpark.com: "Linkin Park has been forced to cancel their upcoming Music For Relief Concerts in Mainland China, Macau and Taipei as lead vocalist Chester Bennington has sustained a back injury and is under doctor's orders to refrain from traveling or any physical activities. Linkin Park sincerely regrets this unavoidable cancellation and apologizes to fans for any disappointment caused. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.

The concerts were organized as fundraisers to benefit Sichuan, an area ravaged by a devastating earthquake this past May. However, thanks to generous donations from concert promoter Emma Ticketmaster and Linkin Park, funds will still be contributed to the band's nonprofit organization, Music for Relief, and matched by the World Bank. These funds will benefit post-earthquake reconstruction projects in the Sichuan Province initiated by Chinese Civil Society Organizations.

The cancelled shows are as follows:

Oct. 12 - Shanghai, China - Shanghai Stadium

Oct. 15 - Wuhan, China - Xinhua Stadium

Oct. 17 - Taipei, Taiwan - Taipei Soccer Stadium

Oct. 19 - Beijing, China - Beijing Workers Stadium

Oct. 21 - Macau, China Cotai Arena - The Venetian"

    - This show was made up at the same venue on August 15, 2009.

    - The opening band for this show, Mayday, was scheduled to be a "co-headliner" with a 90 minute set, the same length as Linkin Park. Mayday was also playing the Beijing show with the band.

    - This show was not made up.

    - The opening band for this show, Mayday, was scheduled to be a "co-headliner" with a 90 minute set, the same length as Linkin Park. Mayday was also playing the Shanghai show with the band.
