    - On October 27, 2012, Bruce Menchen, a Casa Grande, AZ musician, posted a photo to his Facebook page of himself rehearsing with Chester, Darren Bradford and Godsmack's bassist Robbie Merrill. He then uploaded a video to YouTube on June 17, 2013 of himself jamming The Cure's 'Friday I'm In Love' with them. This was obviously a rehearsal for Chester's 'Stars Of The Season' show later that night with fellow musicians filling in for Billy Morrison, Steve Stevens and, probably, Elias Andra, most likely because they weren't all in town yet.

    - The band also likely performed The Who's 'My Generation', Bob Dylan's 'Like A Rolling Stone', Oasis' 'Wonderwall', David Bowie's 'Suffragette City' and The Beatles' 'Helter Skelter' during this rehearsal as well.

    - Bruce Menchen and Darren Bradford are members of Elias Andra's band called Feel Good Factor.

    - Rob Lowe (former LP roadie): "So all us roadies we were at the night club inside of our hotel having some drinks. Chester came out with us as well (he was the only member of the band that I ever saw drink) and we were hanging out chatting and watching an Indonesian band perform. All of a sudden they started covering Linkin Park songs (ballsy move!). They walked right up to Chester and he took the mic and started rapping Mike Shinoda's lines while the lead singer of the cover band sang Chester's lines. It was badass. Later on the band broke out into some more American songs and they broke out Ice Ice Baby. I mean, it was 2004. Ice Ice Baby was still hot! (some bands still cover Ice Ice Baby. And they are, obviously, awesome for doing it). Anyway, I got up and joined the band on stage and laid down a verse or two. At the end of the night Chester toasted me and gave me props for knowing my Vanilla Ice".

    - This date is unconfirmed. The date is either June 12th, 13th, or 14th.

    - This was a pre-production for Chester's Xero audition with Size 5 as his backing band. Size 5 was formed by John and Jay Kereny from Lemon Krayola, Bart Applewhite from Kongo Shock and Chuck Moore. Jay Kereny produced the performance and it was videotaped by Chester's ex-wife, Samantha. The following day, Chester spent about 3 hours in the Conservatory Of Recording Arts & Sciences with Ghery Fimbres and the final audition tape was committed to DAT. The songs on the tape sent to Chester by Xero were 'Rhinestone', 'Esaul' and 'Pictureboard', but it's unknown what the final product was. It's confirmed Chester wrote an audition song and that he recorded a version of 'Pictureboard'.

    - The Base was a multi-use compound created by Tyree Michael Carter that existed from 1995 to 2007. It worked as an office space, rehearsal and recording studio and private bar.

    - This was the second of four Camp Freddy's Xmas residency shows in Roxy presented by Indie 103.1.

    - Chester came out to perform 'Mountain Song', 'Ace Of Spades', 'Whole Lotta Love' and 'Paradise City' with the band.

    - The other guests from the night included: Slash, Billy Duffy, Franky Perez, Steve Jones, Mark McGrath, Darling Stilettos and Steve Stevens.

    Other Notes:

    - This was the first and only time that Chester performed Motörhead's 'Ace Of Spades' with the band.

    - Dave Navarro talking about this show: "Later we were joined by Slash and Chester Bennington for 'Whole Lotta Love' and 'Paradise City', which were the ultimate finale. Chester also did an incredible version of 'Mountain Song' with the core band. Of all the people who I have heard sing that song, Chester is second best, after Perry [Farrell], of course. Chester obviously respects the song and really does it justice in his delivery and clear intentions to stay true to the original version. He also tore up 'Ace of Spades'."

Show Notes:

    - This show wasn't discovered until 2013, because it was an one-off show from P.O.D.'s "Kings Of The Game" tour and wasn't announced/listed along with the other dates, but a fan review confirms the show. It featured all the bands from the tour, except for its main act - P.O.D., so (həd) p.e. headlined the show instead.

    - Chester came out during (həd) p.e.'s set to perform 'Bartender' with the band.

    - Due to (həd) p.e. headlining, they were playing a longer set than on the P.O.D. tour, so this setlist is incomplete. This was the setlist they were playing opening for P.O.D. on the tour.

    Other Notes:

    - This is the earliest of five known Chester's appearances on the song. It is likely there were a lot more instances of Chester joining the band over the years.

    - Chester came out to perform Led Zeppelin's 'Good Times, Bad Times', Velvet Revolver's 'Slither' and Guns N' Roses' 'Paradise City' with the band.

    Other Notes:

    - This was the second time that Chester performed 'Good Times, Bad Times' since his 2008.05.08 appearance with Camp Freddy and the first and only time that he has covered a Velvet Revolver song.

    - The organization's official description says: "Founded in 1984, The Los Angeles Youth Network (LAYN) is a California non-profit organization whose mission is to end homelessness one kid at a time, by providing shelter, food and counseling for the abuse, neglected and abandoned. The goals for each child are to successfully complete the permanent transition away from street life to a safe and secure living environment and to fully participate in society".

    - This show marks the third time that Chester performed a Stone Temple Pilots song without the rest of the band since his Grey Daze days, with the first time being his Dell World 2012.12.11 appearance with Camp Freddy ('Sex Type Thing') and the second time - his 2016.06.14 "Let It Die" party appearance with The Hellcat Saints ('Down').

    - 'Whole Lotta Love' was the last song on the printed setlist and 'Paradise City' was added at the last minute by the band, after 'Whole Lotta Love'.

    Other Notes:

    - Royal Machines is the newer incarnation of Camp Freddy. Camp Freddy were disbanded and reformed as Royal Machines around April, 2014. Consisting of the same musicians (Dave Navarro, Mark McGrath, Billy Morrison, Chris Chaney and others), the only difference between the bands is its title and the ultimate exclusion of Matt Sorum. This was Chester's first appearance with Royal Machines after being a steady guest with Camp Freddy for about ten years prior.

    - This was a private event held on the same night as the Republican National Convention. On July 14th, Royal Machines announced,

    "Time to clear the air:

Yes- we are playing in Cleveland, Ohio on July 21 at a charity event for Boulder Crest Retreat for Military & Veteran Wellness. I believe this is the 3rd of 4th time that we have had the opportunity to be a part of raising funds for such a great facility.

This is not a political event and it is not a part of the RNC. In fact, we'll probably be onstage when the nominee is speaking.

    Don't believe the hype".

    - Big thanks to Cyndi Vanderhorst Roberts for the photos!

    Other Notes:

    - "Rock To Recovery" is a fundraising organization started by Wesley Geer (Korn) in 2012. This benefit show was the first concert event associated with the fundraiser. Referred to as The 1st Annual Rock To Recovery Benefit Concert, the gig was also dedicated to Social Distortion's Mike Ness. Rock To Recovery's official website says: "Rock to Recovery was created to help soothe the restless souls of those in recovery. We do this by creating a “band” and writing and recording songs together with Rock to Recovery’s staff of professional musicians, who are also in recovery. We help bring fun into treatment and recovery by offering a natural escape from the fear-based mind. This helps people grow a sense of belonging and self esteem. We help to vent emotions by writing lyrics and singing together for release, in real-time. We tie in a positive theme of hope in recovery throughout the whole process. When the session is done, our “band” members feel a new energy all throughout their minds and spirits".

    - The main act for the show was Filter with "All Star Jam" band and "Rock To Recovery" band playing before them. Chester joined "All Star Jam" band to perform Stone Temple Pilots' 'Vasoline' and Led Zeppelin's 'Whole Lotta Love'. The band's lineup included Billy Morrison (The Cult, Camp Freddy), Steve Stevens (Billy Idol), Chris Chaney (Jane's Addiction) and Erik Eldenius (Billy Idol).

    - "Rock To Recovery" band included Wesley Geer, David Silveria (Korn), Zachary Baird, Sonny Mayo, Nate Low, Brandon Jordan, Brandon Parkhurst, Matthew Bartosch and Clinton Calton.

    - ReAct Now: Music & Relief was a four and a half hour long benefit concert that was aired on MTV, VH1, CMT, MTV2, MTVU, etc, which raised about $30 million for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts via the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, and America's Second Harvest (which has been changed to Feeding America in 2008). It featured both live and taped performances from artists in New York, Los Angeles and Nashville.

    - Chester participated in the event joining Motley Crue to perform their classic 'Home Sweet Home', and also performed his own song 'Let Down' with Ryan Shuck and Amir Derakh from Orgy/Julien-K and, later, Dead By Sunrise. The page for their 'Let Down' performance can be found in Dead By Sunrise's section of the site.

    Other Notes:

    - Traveling overnight from a concert the night before in Birmingham, AL, Motley Crue hooked up Chester and producer Desmond Child in Nashville to perform on the event. Within hours of the television performance they had arranged for a 26-member gospel choir and 25-piece orchestra to record a new studio version of the song at Nashville's Oceanway Studios. Motley Crue then proceeded directly to the Starwood Amphitheater to play their previously scheduled concert, arriving within minutes of show time. "It was a whirlwind 24 hours, but everyone rose to the occasion" said the song's Executive Producer and Motley Crue manager, Allen Kovac.

    - The studio version of the song was released on iTunes on September 27th and was later heavily distributed by other US digital music services through The Orchard marketing company. 100% of the proceeds has been donated to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Effort and Mercy Corps. The music video partially consisted of the live footage from the event was released on the same day on AOL Music.

    - Motley Crue's bassist Nikki Sixx: "Chester was originally scheduled to play the MTV "ReAct Now" benefit concert in Los Angeles but when he heard what we were doing he wanted to help with this song and video and chose to do his performance in Nashville with us. He flew in late the night before and was in the studio early the next morning. Chester is a real artist that will be making a difference for a long time."

    - A CD single release was planned for the song for traditional retail outlets and was going to include exclusive behind-the-scenes "making of" documentary, but it was never released.

    - Metal Skool spotted Chester in the crowd and asked him to come out on stage and sing with them, so he joined the band to perform 'Welcome To The Jungle'.

    Other Notes:

    - This was the first time that Chester joined Metal Skool for any song.

    - No audio or video has surfaced from this show, but there are several pictures of Chester that surfaced the day after the show.

    - A short video of Chester performing 'Rainbow In The Dark' was found on MySpace in January 2007 and since then was believed to be from the same show, but, after comparing the video and photos from the event, it was discovered in late 2015 that the video is actually from a different show, because Chester clothes and hair don't match up. The source code for the video revealed that it was a performance on September 18, 2006.

    - The band changed its name to Steel Panther in 2008.

    - Excerpt from the NoiseCreep interview with the band's vocalist Michael Starr: "Were like heavy metal missionaries [ ...] Our job is not only to bring metal back to people who long for it, but were also here to change the face of music as it is today. The way to do that is really by evangelizing. We pretty much baptized Kelly Clarkson into metal with whiskey and some Guns N Roses. If you look at her now, everythings a little different now. Clarkson retreated to her hotter look [...] and now that shes showing off her body more, her sales have increased [...] Its like were planting these heavy metal seeds in all these stupid contemporary artists brains [...] Mentally theyre going to blossom into heavy metal guys and women. Another disguised heavy metal band is Linkin Park. Chester got up and ripped it up. Honestly dude, Im going to be honest here: I thought Linkin Park was totally gay. Theyre not metal. He got up and sang and I was like, This guy can totally sing. I started listening to their older stuff a little bit because there was this girl I had sex with her daughter was listening to it. Thats not too bad. Its metal but its kind of that disguised metal because people are so afraid to look like we do and to rock. Think about it".

    - Immediately after the improv jam, a fan asked him to play another song which he quickly said "no" to.

    Other Notes:

    - As a part of his trip to China, Chester performed solo with an acoustic guitar for a few fans at Wangfujing, one of the most popular outdoor street markets in Beijing. It appears he just walked up to a street performance gathering and was asked to play a song.

    - Lyrics:

"I don't even know what song this is

Ok, you guys all ready to sing with me?

We're going to make up the words, because I don't know what I'm doing
