Comments: This one is a very interesting edit. No audience bootleg, but it's been verified by multiple people who attended the show. At the end of the 2nd chorus/start of the bridge of 'Breaking The Habit', Chester mistakenly sang "I'm breaking the habit" three times instead of two, therefore messing up on the entrance to the bridge, leaving out the word "I'll" before catching himself. This has been corrected on the official audio in an interesting manner. The end of the 2nd chorus sounds completely normal, however the last "tonight" is held out longer than usual (leading us to believe that it was edited in from the final chorus of the song), and abruptly jumps to Chester singing "Paint it on the walls." The echo from "tonight" actually overlaps the start of the bridge here, creating the illusion that there are two Chester's singing for a split second.

- Chester broke his wrist on the beginning of 'Papercut' by jumping off the top of the stage, catching his foot, and falling (video here). He continued to sing (with the crowd helping him on some parts) from 'Papercut' to 'Leave Out All The Rest', then only left to get checked on and get ice on it before 'Numb'. He came out and finished the set - only after the show did he go get a cast put on it. He didn't want to quit the show early or cancel any other shows or Meet & Greets. It sounds like he mentioned something to Mike about it before 'Leave Out All The Rest', so the band stopped the show and took a few minutes after the song for Chester to get it checked out backstage. During the break, Brad, Mike, Joe, and Rob played a short instrumental jam. Chester came back out and finished the rest of the show.

- Mike rapped verse one of 'In Stereo' over the intro of 'Points Of Authority'.

- 'Shadow Of The Day' was not played, because Chester's wrist was broken and he plays guitar on the song. Starting with the show after this, Mike's tech Kurt played guitar on the song for the rest of the Australia Tour.

- After 'From The Inside', Mike took time to talk about how hard it is always being on the road and away from your family all the time, and then had the crowd sing Happy Birthday to Ken "Pooch" Van Druten, the band's FOH engineer for the Minutes To Midnight Touring Cycle. - Mike rapped verse one of 'Petrified' over the intro of 'Points Of Authority'. He continued the intro longer than usual, into the actual song, going back and forth with Chester on the lines "Why's everybody so Petrified?", etc.

- This was Linkin Park's first show in China.

- The first five songs of the show were the downloadable bonus content of the 'Minutes To Midnight South East Asia Tour Edition' CD.

- This show was rumored to take place at Shijingshan Stadium in Shanghai on April 14, 2007. A promoter "confirmed" the show and even put tickets on sale, but it was never announced. A likely explanation was the band was asked to play in April and booked the show in October, when they'd be heading to Asia for Minutes To Midnight.

- The band finished their vocals for the Busta Rhymes collaboration 'We Made It' before this show.

- On January 2, 2010, Mike posted a blog on his website entitled "My Linkin Park Decade List". Number 4 was:

"4 – SHANGHAI STADIUM, November 18th, 2007

Upon arrival in Shanghai, we knew the show was going to be special…but we had no idea. When we were met at the airport, our promotion and label staff informed us that the last two rock bands to play China at the time were Nine Inch Nails and The Rolling Stones. They told us the largest concert by a foreign rock artist was The Stones show, which was attended by roughly 12,000 people. We were about to play a show at Shanghai Stadium, which was easily two times that size.

Upon arrival, we saw the concert was heavily guarded by national police. Every few feet, all along the perimeter of the venue–EVERYWHERE–stood an officer in uniform. I wasn’t sure if they were armed, but it was definitely different for us. We were informed that the police forces were all prepared to engage if there was any rioting, violence, etc…That scared the crap out of me. I pictured a few fans throwing something, the entire place erupting into violence, and foreign rock bands being banned from Chinese concerts for a long time. I thought it was a somewhat irrational fear. I was later informed that if a riot had occurred, the scenario above is exactly what would have happened.

Luckily, the Chinese fans–and our band and crew–never went down that path. it turned out to be one of the most exciting and important shows of our career so far. By the end, we even caught a few of the police guards nodding their heads to the music."

- Third Encore in North Hollywood is home to Linkin Park's rehearsal studio. For all of the March 2007 Music Performances, Linkin Park simply converted their stage at their rehearsal studio accordingly and played there.

- The set was released on AOL.com as a part of its Sessions@AOL series. It came with a front cover and a back cover. The final track listing for the release was: 'What I've Done', 'In The End', 'Breaking The Habit', 'Faint', 'Given Up', and 'No More Sorrow'. 'What I've Done' was released on the AOL site a month early to hype the release of the performance.

- Three tracks from this performance were also released as bonus tracks with all Best Buy editions of Minutes to Midnight: 'What I've Done', 'No More Sorrow', and 'Given Up'.

Comments: The official live audio release of this show has an interesting edit in it. At the end of 'Cure For The Itch', Mike says "We never played that one for you...we haven't played this one for you either." However, on the audience recording, Mike can only be heard saying "We haven't played this one for you either." It seems strange that a brief line from Mike between songs would be edited like this, especially having something edited IN, rather than out! The most likely explanation for this one is that Mike's microphone hadn't been brought back up at the soundboard when he started talking (it was right after the encore break), and it was fixed for the official release.

- This was the debut of the new "Set B". 'No More Sorrow' had a new, long intro that opened the show. 'Cure For The Itch' was played for the first time since June 4th, 2001. It was the first performance of 'QWERTY' since Japan 2006. Mike and Chester messed up after the song was finished and tried to say that it was the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th time it was played live. They finally settled on it being played "on one trip to Japan". The version played was a mashup of the 2006 version and the studio version on LPU 6, so it is dubbed the "2007 Version".

- 'Shadow Of The Day' was played without the intro loop due to a technical problem.

- This is the first time that 'Hands Held High' was performed live. After the song, Chester gave a short speech about how people had talked to him so much about the song, its powerful effect, and Mike's lyrics.

- This was the first time the Minutes To Midnight Tour Version of 'Cure For The Itch' was performed live.

- There was a big storm that hit right as Linkin Park was beginning to set up. The venue asked all of the fans on the lawn to return to their cars in the parking lot to hear the show on the radio due to there being lightning in the area. The show was slightly delayed, but Linkin Park came out opening with the long intro to 'No More Sorrow' and then jumped right back into "Set A", skipping 'Wake' and 'Given Up' due to the delay. There is an LPUTV episode about the incident. Before the show, Chester said that it hurt to talk and that he felt very sick...possibly not being able to make it through even three songs.

During the outro of the song, when Mike's backing vocals come in, the first repetition of 'Little Things Give You Away' is completely inaudible, then on the second repeat, there's a sudden increase in volume right as Mike's vocals come in. I don't recall Mike missing his vocal entrance at the show, so it seems like for whatever reason, the first line was muted out of the final mix. This is particularly noticeable due to the fact that there's a sudden increase in volume on the second line, almost like Mike's vocal track was muted and then unmuted right as he said the second line. It seems like a rather rough transition that was edited very quickly." Also, "This one has a verifiable source, thankfully. There's an audience video on YouTube of 'QWERTY' from this show, and it is clearly noticeable that Mike starts the first verse too early. He says about 2 words and then catches himself."
