  1. I think there are two reasons: 1. Lost was way more successful than what they anticipated and they didn't prepare anything big afterwards. It was probably never meant to stick around the charts for that long. 2. They don't want to get caught in the nostalgic trip. As much as it is nice that the song is successful, I can imagine that they don't want to be defined by releasing old stuff now. Especially by releasing old music they didn't consider worthy enough to put on the album back then.
  2. I think they don‘t want to put it on streaming services etc. since they want the 2023 mix to be the definitive version of the song. If someone goes to Spotify and searches for the song, that‘s the version they want that person to hear. Adding the 2002 version only makes that less likely.
  3. The whole album is great. The title song, this one and Murderer are probably my favorites. Also it seems like this one will be the next single.
  4. Who hurt you? Is anyone forcing you to listen to those tracks?
  5. People shit on remixes like the 100 gecs one for example, and I can understand why people don‘t like it, I don‘t casually listen to that one either, but it takes a different spin on the song and gives it a new identity which I think is the most interesting thing about a remix. I miss that a little bit in this remix. It sounds very cinematic though, like something you put in a trailer, which makes sense given the artist who did it, but it makes me wonder if they have more plans for it.
  6. Credits from Spotify. So PLZ stands for Patrick Lawrence Zappia
  7. I have a hard time understanding what PLZ Tethered refers to? Is it the artist name of whoever remixed it or is it a remix from the band itself and it's just a name for the remix? I googled it but found nothing useful, only found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vj2jkpg1RRc
  8. I wasn't able to find the previous list of all images they released on the Meteora wall, so I am not 100% sure, but I think these are new: - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_1.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_2.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_3.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_4.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_5.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_6.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_7.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_8.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_9.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_10.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_11.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_12.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_13.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_14.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_15.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_16.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_17.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_18.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_19.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_20.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_21.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_22.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_23.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_24.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_25.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_26.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_27.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_28.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_29.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_30.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_31.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_32.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_33.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_34.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_35.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_36.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_37.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_38.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_39.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_40.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_41.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_42.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_43.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_44.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_45.jpeg - https://d1ebxi7lthqj9n.cloudfront.net/galleries/gallery-5/g-5_46.jpeg
  9. 1 in Germany https://www.offiziellecharts.de/charts/album/for-date-1681423200000 Edit: too slow. Interesting detail: German charts are based on revenue instead of units shipped so expensive box sets usually end up in the first place.
  10. I don't know anything about Rock Band, so not sure if this applies here, but games nowadays constantly update their DRM systems, encryption methods, etc. It's been a couple of years since LFY was released, so it is definitely within the realm of possibilities that they changed stuff behind the scenes that make it impossible or harder for us to extract anything.
  11. If that's the case (and you are 100% sure you ordered from the European store, not the US one) you should go ahead and complain since that can have an impact on how much fees and taxes you have to pay. It is clearly written on their store that all orders are shipped from the UK (https://linkinpark.warnerartists.net/eu/faq-global.html):
  12. I told people over and over again, that people should avoid ordering from them because orders from the European Warner store will be shipped from the UK and therefore you will have to pay a shitload of custom fees and taxes. They even mention it on their website. It sucks that they haven't adjusted their shipping location since the UK decided to fuck themselves over, but I highly recommend checking where your orders are coming from before ordering something to avoid this situation.
  13. https://intercom.help/LPUnderground/en/articles/7226718-using-redemption-codes If that doesn't help I guess the next step is to contact them.
  14. I don't know but in my head the vocals are there every time I listen to it. It's rather funny how stuck they are in my head even though I barely listened to the Wizard Song clip ever.
  15. I'll post it one last time, but I assume people will ignore it because it doesn't fit their narrative: Living Things, One More Light and the new Lost mix sound the way they do because that's how the band wants them to sound, not because of the person who mixed it. A mixing engineer has no creative freedom and they won't be able to turn the volume of guitars for example down, just because they think it's better and the band has to live with it. A mixing engineer is just there to bring the vision of the artist alive by applying their craftsmanship to make that sound work, and Manny is pretty much one of the best when it comes to that. If I recall correctly both Mike and Brad are in the room for the whole mixing process so they could always raise their voice if they think the output is not what they have envisioned. Does that mean you have to like the way the guitars are more muted on those albums and tracks? No, absolutely not, you don't. But the responsibility for that sound is on the band, not the mixing engineer. Also I will take the bait but the people who prefer the old mix seem like the typical "louder guitars = gooder music!!" group but I'll just leave that topic alone now.
  16. It's a combination of a slightly better source than the DVD and AI upscaling. In some cases the AI upscaling artifacts are super obvious (for example in fast camera sweeps above the crowd) but the result wouldn't be this good if the source was the original DVD quality.
  17. Welcome to the release cycle of every release in existence.
  18. They can't just do that. When someone subscribes to mailing list, the user gives consent for a very specific usage of the address they provided. In some areas of the world (e.g. the EU) regulations and laws around stuff like that got very strict and no sane company wants to screw around with it. Also imagine how many people who never bought the boxset would have signed up for the replacement if they knew it was freely available? As I said, the only reasonable solution would have been for Warner to make resellers aware and those resellers then contact their customers.
  19. While the quality increased, they changed the color grading quite drastically in some of the newer versions and I can understand that people prefer the muted colors of the original versions compared to the new ones. I personally think the red in Numb is a bit too vibrant for example. All in all I am glad we got the upgrades though. Regarding a LIT upgrade: If they would do a similar upgrade, they would have to rescan all the original film material, recreate the original cut, do all the necessary editing etc. There were probably way more cameras involved in a live concert recording than a music video shot, so the material they would have to work with is magnitudes more compared to the 4 3-minute videos. At that point the money and time investment is probably not feasible anymore.
  20. I assume those things will be updated once we have everything. It makes no sense to start editing the same pages every 2 weeks. In the end everyone involved in those projects are volunteers who are sacrificing a lot of their time.
  21. I don‘t understand what a random RtR screenshot has to do with Pictureboard? Also the response is clear, the sample has already been submitted, it needs manual review though. What do you expect to happen?
  22. That is exactly how it worked? If you bought it from a third party, how is Warner supposed to know about your purchase and your contact information? They can’t so they created a sign up page were you were able to register for replacements but they were only able to contact people who purchased it from them directly. I think there were people on here who registered for those replacements and also got them, even though they bought it from somewhere else. If you didn‘t get that information it is probably up to the company who handled distribution in your region.
  23. I wonder what the process for getting these higher qualities out was. It is definitely not like they just had the videos we had before in higher quality and they had to reupload them. The new version of Numb has a different aspect ratio and a vastly different color grading for example. Here is the exact same moment from the Numb video, and as you can see the new one is much more vibrant. Also what's really odd and I wonder if they are already aware of that: You get the original video upload when you select 360p instead of a downsampled version of the 4k version. Which is cool, that way it is easy to compare both versions. But the original 360p upload is totally out of sync with the audio. I assume audio for all versions is used from the new version while the old video had a shorter break in the beginning or something like that (that's why the screenshots have a different timestamp). I wasn't able to find similar differences in other versions, but they seem to use the same base version of the video file for all quality options and I was too lazy to find a good upload of the original video quality.
  24. Somewhere I Belong got updated again and is also available in 4k now.
