I'm pretty disappointed that Shadow of The Day is not on the list. This song peaked higher than most songs here. It reached #15 on the Billboard Hot 100. Only ITE, Numb, WID, and ND peaked higher, so it makes no sense for this to not be on a greatest hits album, if that's what this is going to be. 

THP is dead last for me when it comes to studio albums. Most of the instrumentation just sounds the same from song to song, lacking in variety and of any unique distinction. 

GATS is possibly the worst music video I've seen from any band. It's total dogshit.

Good Goodbye should've been a one-off song that wasn't part of OML. It really brings that album down since it's in the top 3 worst songs they've ever done that made the cut of a studio album.

Chow went overboard a few times imo. He looked like a complete maniac at times.

If the only way the band is going to play old songs is by hiring a new vocalist to officially join the band then I would prefer them to not even play them at all. It would just break my damn heart all over again...and again until I won't be able to watch them live anymore. Hopefully they can maybe have different guests for shows or something and not resort to having to actually have a new member to kinda fill that hole cause it'll never be filled.

I hope there are more announced guests as Chester deserves as much love as possible. No disrespect to the confirmed artists, they are awesome, but I do hope we get more diversity to honor him.

This thread makes me really depressed to the point where I need to stay out of it. I'm too emotionally attached.

As I said before I hope they will release one more album under the name LP which would be dedicated to Chester, featuring his what's left of his vocals and then when that's done they would continue under a different name.

Just please continue as a 5 piece...We don't need a new singer. Fucking devastating.

I might get some flack for this, but it's my personal opinion and how I feel, but I would lose some respect for Mike and the rest of the guys if they were to hire a new co-lead singer and continue to use the name Linkin Park. You can not call it that if Chester, who was the face, heart and soul of the band is gone. I find it a little disrespectful when Chester is arguably the main reason for the band's success. Sure, Mike is the genius behind the band, but Chester is what made them a global phenomenon by connecting with millions through his powerful voice. Ideally, I would like to see the five guys make one more album using the name and dedicate it to Chester as a tribute. They could even possibly work around the countless hours of footage they probably have of Chester in the studio and build a few songs around that. Afterwards, they should either change the name or the rest of the guys follow Mike in Fort Minor. It's all up to them of course, but that's just my feelings on this. I wanted to vent.

I'm glad he's finally being recognized for the amazing artist and person he was. It has always annoyed me how he was underrated in both the critic and public eye all these years.
