  1. Great work and thank you for this awesome week! B )
  2. Did anyone noticed this keyboard from Rock am Ring 2007?
  3. Maybe some of you are interested how LP or more precisely the guys behind the scenes, working on the Concert Motion Graphics. These are all "Light- and Graphic-Effects" during the live shows at the background screens. Well, actually I got this information from a german video tutorial website called Video2Brain and as a student you can get free access to this stuff. I think its nice to know, that all this stuff is going to work "only" with Adobe After Effects and Cinema-4D, so really nothing special at all. Hopefully, some of you are understand what I'm actually talking about. 4. The sound has too much reverb and sometimes you're going to hear strange sound effects, like at some points from OSC! What happend after Papercut? The guys stopped playing and run to the right side of the stage?
  5. Well, so far so good. Now I come the point to create a midi track for Guilty all the Same and I think you guys know what I've to check out next! Astat called it "gradual EQ sweep" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XF_xEucEGyI&feature=youtu.be&t=2m4s). I know it is "not possible" to get exactly the same effect, but this effect is not possible by change a preset midi controlled only, because it's gradual. So one case would be to create tons of signals and different presets, but that doesn't make sense at all. I have to create this effect by software on pc side or get another gadget, correct?
  6. So, finally I got it! I connect my POD 2.0 with an M-Audio USB Uno 1×1 Midi Interface to the PC and use Reaper (http://www.reaper.fm/) to send the Midi signals. Watching this video ( ) show how it goes. Now I can "rock" like Brad and don't have to watch out for the presets! Thank you guys for making this possible!
  7. Thank you guys! I think this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEsA-CyljS8, shows the correct way, Axe FX was the "thing" I missed!
  8. Hm..., I thought the video shows the "midi track" and the guy only use the different drum sets to "simulate" a real drum for different songs and by hitting the snare or whatever the midi controller sends the signal to Ableton Live and it will change the effect. BTW: I love it to experiment with those things, because when I see something like this and I don't know how it works, I will research and do trial and error till I got it!
  9. Thanks Astat for this nice description. Now things are getting clear, more and more. I also noticed the pedal of the guitar solo on Waiting for the End is the only "extra" equip for Brad on stage during a show. I will experiment some things with Ableton Live, a Line 6 POD in combination with a pedal and see if I'm able to "emulate" something similar. EDIT: So, after a long research I came up to this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHp30S7tzgs, and I think this is all the magic, which happens during the show right?
  10. Thanks for the information, especially for the name that I couldn't understand! So, this also a reason why the band cannot change their setlist "randomly" during a show, isn't it? Ableton only knows the correct order for a selist which is programmed before a show starts and live changes during the set would be "difficult" right? But how is Ableton able to know, when the presets have to be change, for example during a song from clean to tremolo or whatever?
  11. Hey guys, I have a little question to this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BwidDU-sgM. Ben talked about the computer which controls the "effects" from Brad's guitar sound, like distortion, echo, clean or what ever. I can't understand the name of the program and how this stuff works. So, is there a timer for every song and Brad starts the timer by playing the first note of a song or how is this all working so fine?
  12. Maybe at the german TV channel called 3-Sat. Two times in a year, 31 December - 1 January and 30 April - 1 May this channel broadcast an "event" called Pop around the clock. And the last time they stream a part of Road to Revolution and Madison Square Garden 2011. So, this could be a chance to see some kind of rebroadcast.
  13. For me some camera views are very shaky, maybe because of the 4k resolution? And the "motion blur" effect looks also some kind of weird, but we will see and have to wait for the final product.
  14. Well, I think we definitely will have a copy of the stream. At the moment I try to downsize the source and play with the settings of my receiver! There is a lot of echo in the audio, of course it's an arena.
  15. Audio works via satellite if you are not able to watch 4K, that's really nice! BTW: Papercut now!
  16. Bleed it Out was stopped shortly after the beginning of the first verse, because someone from the audience was semiconscious or something like that and was taking out by the security. After this the band restart with the first chorus. All in all a good solid show, but I had definitely the feeling of listening to a DSP from the CD or something, playing the setlist very strait forward with some single words in between some songs. Oh and the "platform" for Mike's Keyboard etc. has a tiny special red LED, so the whole thing looks like a little airstrip for model aircraft.
  17. I will be also there. The "new customized" stage design looks really cool, especially the spotlights behind Mike etc. Hope for great show with a band on fire! B )
  18. Big thanks for this one, thumbs up to all the guys who make this possible! I love the camera view from this one and of course the mic fail from Chester during A Place for my Head!
  19. OK, serious now. Hopefully Brad is ok and the european tour will not be canceled or something similar. Thank you guys for this great night, was really funny and see you back tomorrow, 5:30 am in Germany now!
  20. Irony on Maybe he is doing something like physiotherapy, so he could ROCK ON LIKE HELL in europe! Irony off
  21. That was kind of a step back to the show 2014.05.24 Tucson, AZ, my opinion.
  22. I didn't have so many fun during a LP stream for years. The stream skips 30 seconds and a minute later it skips back to the missing part, so you don't miss any second of the show!!! B ) BTW: The What I've Donw solo was really nice played!
  23. With the Keyboard settings from today, they could make even more live remixes and mashups during the show itself! So, Chester was wrong, that was not interesting, it IS interesting!!!
  24. Best ironic sentence from Chester: "We couldn't have a better returning than this in Brazil!"
  25. Maybe after the break, Mike or Chester will say something about missing Brad for today.
