  1. i would love a cd that is either b-sides, remixes, acoustics, or studio versions of some of their live intros and outros. the last 2 lpu cds have been awesome, hopefully this one continues the trend.

  2. My least favorite album by them by far. I liked how they were trying to be more electronic than the last album, but I honestly just don't like many of the songs on this album. Iridescent, When They Come for Me, Burning In the Skies, The Catalyst, and The Messenger all really just don't do it for me. Iridescent, and When They Come For Me IMO are the worst Linkin Park songs ever. When the band described the album before it came out as being more electronic and having more rap in it, I thought it would be something like Reanimation where they had powerful overly distorted guitars, and really awesome synths and sound effects. Obviously I didn't think every song would be like that, but I was disappointed when there were no songs like that. Robot Boy, Waiting For the End and Blackout are the best songs on the album and really stand out over everything else, but the supporting cast of other songs really brings this album down.

Jornada Del Muerto, The Requiem, and The Radiance are all pretty cool. Empty Spaces is not even worth the 18 seconds that it is. Wisdom, Justice, and Love is only cool at the end when MLK's voice gets all robotic, otherwise it's just boring.

I still hope for the next album to be something like Reanimation, but A Thousand Suns is my least favorite LP album and unless the next album is them trying to rehash this (which I don't think they'll do) it will probably stay my least favorite album.

  3. i didn't go to any of the concerts so i don't really have a place to judge any of the shows, but i'm really not into the current setlists they have going. i think numb and in the end could be swapped, given up and no more sorrow could be swapped, what i've done should just be dropped in favor of new divide, wretches and kings can be swapped with when they come for me. then burning in the skies, blackout, and robot boy could be played all the time. then they should also rotate in pieces, leave out all the rest, and valentines day. then they can add with you, figure .09, p5hing me away, and a place for my head. and then every show could be different and exciting, instead of just swapping 1 or 2 songs

  4. does anyone else think that there may be a slim chance that they could possibly play valentines day sometime on this tour? i know they most likely wont but it would be an awesome surprise. also i think in pieces returning would be awesome, they should definitely play that instead of shadow of the day or numb

  5. i agree with you guys for the most part, numb, in the end, and shadow of the day need to be dropped. if they did crawling with the reanimation intro still i think it would be better. no more sorrow i think is only good as a show opener (i like the intro better than the song itself).

  6. I have not heard any recent DSPs or atleast in the last year or so, so I was wondering if anyone knows if they had turned the guitars up in the mix or are they still barely able to be heard? This was the thing that annoyed me the most about them.

  7. setlist is okay, i'm sure if i were there i would like it more. 4 points i would change if i could: 1. empty spaces..... really? why? 2. everyone has said it, WID closing just doesnt seem that awesome to me. 3. honestly my least favorite song on the new cd is when they come for me and i would instantly take that song out of the set. 4. everyone is saying that it's good that they removed SIB, but honestly if they removed that song, i think they should get rid of numb as well, talk about an overplayed song, this song has been played twice in the same show before (with jay-z).

  8. essentially they really only played 14 songs if u take out the interludes so on a normal night they would hopefully play 6 more songs. why would they only play 14 songs though? this concert was dedicated to the opening of their new cd and they play a ridiculously short set? wouldnt you think that they would have played more songs if they were celebrating something? just my opinion. and what i've done closing sounds terrible to me. i've never been the biggest fan of that song because it always just sounded way too generic for me. i like the intro theyve been playing for the past 2 years better than the actual song itself.

  9. i think as far as "hits" go they'll take out in the end, somewhere i belong, and from the inside. i think there could be a possibility of with you being played because i saw mike in a video say that people always ask him to play it. songs i don't want to see played are no more sorrow and new divide (yeah its not my favorite).

  10. it was okay, i wanted to see more of how they wrote and created songs instead of just them talking every month leading up to the deadline. the censoring with the loud noises was also annoying. it was interesting to see them argue though and i was really pissed when brads like, "stop filming me," because it seemed like he was about to say something awesome. chester's speech at the end was good though.
